Dry and cure

I've dried and cured a few samples from my garden and none of them smell or taste right. Granted Ive only cured for about 4-5 days so far, but was hoping to get an idea. So is it ok for me to cut each branch for drying instead of hanging whole plant. And my drying area temps are around 70-75 but humidity is very low at 30%. What am I maybe doing wrong. Does the curing process just take longer?

Whole plant or single branches - your choice. Some even lay them flat on screens. Lower the temps much more. A cool basement room or pantry. Try to raise your humidity by simply hanging a wet towel where air from the fan you have (right?) can blow air near the towel. Not on it or you will be wetting it down every couple hours.

By the way here, folks. I see drying and curing questions a lot. I also see chopping questions like "Is she ready?".

If your bud is not fully mature and ripened you cannot expect that bud to "be all that it can be". Buy a cheap illuminated 30X jewelers loupe for less than $4 on Amazon. $4.00. . .. Then do NOT chop until the trichs are nearly all cloudy. To hell with what the "hairs" look like.

Here is the exact loupe I use all the time. I do have 40X and 100X scopes (no variables). But this goes in your pocket and can even go to the dispensary with MMJ card holders.

So i have humidity up to 43%-- Is that sufficient or should I get it higher?

i was thinking of buying a sweater drying rack or two for when i have to dry my crop just a suggestion you might try i still have about 3 weeks left on my grow so im thinking ahead i guess

Your good, man. Relax and watch the plant grow. No dumb questions. But there is a plethora of dumbasses here to give you "answers".
