During an ongoing investigation related to illegal residential marijuana grow operations in the city of Eastvale; officers assigned to the city of Eastvale's Special Enforcement Team obtained new information regarding a residence being used for an illegal marijuana grow operation. An investigation was initiated and a search warrant was obtained for the residence.
On Thursday, August 1, 2013, at 4:00 p.m., officers assigned to the city of Eastvale's Special Enforcement Team served the search warrant. Once inside, officers discovered the residence was unoccupied and had been modified for the sole purpose of cultivating and processing marijuana for sales.
Officers seized 100 marijuana plants, 2 pounds of processed marijuana, packaging material, digital scales, and $2700.00 in U.S. currency.
