Better for who? Feed half the normal way and half the way your doing now. See which method u like best what works for some doesn't work for others!

I can see what you're trying to do, feeding from the bottom up, it does work.
imo it's best to cover those containers holding water, will increase humidity and scum will build up from the light/heat. correx is cheap enough and can be cut to size.

Regarding time and location. Yes best to leave it in the tent as you have at the moment. Not too sure on time but measure it over 24 hours, make some markings on the container or measure with scales.

Good luck!

I really don't understand this technique, it may be advantageous to consider the more traditional proven method of watering/feeding

Your plants look like shit, time to get your act together and starting watering/feeding them in a standard fashion

they are starting to look better now that they are getting a feed the proper way and finally the pots are starting to feel heavy aswell now compared to before when they were only getting 1liter of water every 3 days.

ive seen watering from the bottom up too, Delvite the Critical Kush grower does it, but he adds it after he top waters. I'd just water conventionally and collect the runoff with those tubs.

with out being to harsh on you WTFFFFFF?!? get them plants outta that shit asap you are starving the roots of oxygen and your plants are showing signs of over watering take them out of that solution asap and let them run the excess off and they should be fine

as for the "grower" who told you to do it i would no longer ask for this persons advice

i see what your trying to do but your doing it wrong you put the plant in a box with solution in and then pour more in from the top once the water will not soak in no more take them out of the box and put the plant pot up on a few smaller pots so the excess water can run off i takes about 5 mins per plant
