First time Sour Diesel grow

I've made it to week 9 of 11 or 12 or maybe 13 so I hear. This is my first time with a sativa Dom strain. Feeding it the GH Trio line I subbed out the liquid Kool bloom for Sonic Bloom and their sweetener for Mendocino honey. Have Mars Hydro TSW 2000 led 2 Gal fabric pots with Coco perlite. Was wondering should I flush with Flora Clean or nah?

I’m growing this same strain, Just finished Week 8 today, growing in coco/perlite with 5 gallon cloth pots, and a Tsw2000 and Ts3000. I’m feeding Jungle Juice (same thing as GH Flora).

I’ve grown this strain before and I didn’t flush and had no problems at all. You can flush if you want, but I wouldn’t do more than 3 days of pH’d water only before you harvest. Flushing really isn’t necessary unless you’re having nutrient burn (based on my own experience and a study I read about testing plants for flavor between flushed/I flushed buds).

I might flush for a few days to let my plants eat the remaining nutrients before harvest. (Your plants look great btw). Ha!

Ya I know about 3 more weeks as far as flush so it won't taste like chemicals... I didn't flush last time and a few of my homies said it tasted like chemicals a lil it was fire but the taste was off
Flushing removes nutrients from the medium, it doesn't remove anything from the buds. The only thing you do by flushing before harvest is starve the plant of nutrients it needs to finish.

I'd say flushing definitely has an effect on taste of the bud especially if your not using organic nutrients... Everyone has their own beliefs though

Exactly, Just do what suits you. People have staked out extreme positions on this flushing thing. There really is no need to argue about it, there are pages and pages of pissing contests. Do it in your grow, or don’t.

Don’t flush, but give it to your same friends and tell them you flushed the shit out of it this time.

If they say “oh yeah I can tell, tastes way better” then you’ll know it didn’t matter.

Another can of worms thread …. My 2¢

Let me ask you … What other plants are need of a “ flush “ ?

Flushing will NOT change or add any taste , smell or results of a harvest , there is no way to remove what plant has already stored within itself.

If your feedings have been at or near on point , flushing isn’t necessary…. Flushing is a failsafe to reset the “ medium “ to remove excess salts that interfere with normal uptake …. Thats it….

Your final quality will be determined on well it was grown , harvested , stored and cured.

As long as they weren't over feeding the plants or using shitty nutrients/soil to begin with that is true. When people ask me "how long do you flush?" and I know they're not a grower I say 2 weeks minimum and it turns them right on. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I called some Super Skunk: Turbo Diesel and everyone just went nanners over it but if you said it was Super Skunk I bet they'd say "got anything else?".

Well everyone here are the results that smells really dank and even though I only flushed for 2 days using flora klean seems okay I had a tester bud and I got high as fuck. The taste wasn't quite there yet but I haven't cured. I'm planning on curing for about 3 weeks before I start having fun with itPXL_20220213_004734238.jpg

Your stuff looks great! Sorry for the delay, been offline for a bit dealing with work stuff for a bit. To asnwer your question, Yeah! I just finished up a bit ago. Here's a couple pics of some trimmed nugs. Got some great purple hues out of mine and they were super frosty.
