Yes I did and that's just a small part of the town, some of the town is cut off completely we are surrounded by river and they have put flood defences up but the rain hasn't stopped and the defences can't cope with the amount of water. Its a nightmare.

We from the Midlands...had some bad weather here, but nothing like that OR the Reports I've seen on the News...Would you believe right now the Sun is shinning here....Mad! last couple of weeks its just been rain,wind,rain...and more of the same...

Hmm: Might start saving in the Future for a Boat...esp if its going to be like this every year or Worse...

No we are okay where we are, we are quite a way from the river, but we can't get into the town centre its totally cut off. Some of the businesses are in trouble because of the water and falling tree's, and debris from the wind, its sunny today but theirs another storm moving in from the atlantic tomorrow or so they say. :sad:

Yes we are in the midlands also, our town runs along the river severn which is what you can see in the pic's. Its sunny here today but cold, we have a lot of wind damage as well and my brother who has a caravan park at the coast has terrible damage their. And the forecast is not good either, but we are okay and I'm glad you are to, you must not live to near to water lol.

All the stores are cut off as they are in the middle of the town lol, in some parts they have the army out to stop looters. You would need a boat to go looting here. :o

Any probs getting basic necessities? Like food and how's your water supply is it tainted? do we need to bring in the RIU pirate ship to rescue you yet? But seriously though I'm glad you're safe and I hope it will dry out soon. Fricken global warming.

Thankfully we are all okay and managing, but you can pick me up with the gang on the riu ship just in case.:hug:
