Growing in JULY

I've just bought my first batch of seeds i can start the first of July. I live on a mountain that is right next o a waterfall and the the 500 tree that we cut down that has turned into compost 15 years later . the strand i bought flowers in 55- 60 day i,ve calculated where i live i can grow for another 107 days should i at least try for this season?

Gotta start at some point, so.... test the waters. Seedlings can get chewed up.
i would start them in a green house or patio until 18 to 24 inches, then put them
elsewhere to finish.....use the same soil (if good or amend) where they will finish. Oh!
be careful of animals and critters that love "hippy salad". Optionaly make clones (or reserve
a dedicated true female Mother plant's) if you like what you bought...ready set grow.

I would veg for 5 weeks indoors to get as much size as possible. Use a good soil mix, NOT the native soil if you are in the mountains. When you get ready to plant outside dig a big hole and fill it with soil mix. It probably won't get huge, but if you are correct in your calculations they should finish. That actually allows another week or so, but you may need it in flowering. The seedbank's estimates of finish time are usually at least a week off. There's a lot more to it of course, but that's a start.

I used to live in the mountains and July is a few weeks too late bromigo. Your plants should be established with a decent root structure by July. Of course it really all just depends on a multitude of different variables like the strain, your location, the season, etc.. but you can try and grow a few to see how it goes. Truth is, your probably not that familiar with growing cannabis, right? So why not try and grow a few this season and take a few notes. Then next may, start your seeds inside. Grow them tell june, then plant them and you'll get some big plants come late summer
You mentioned that you cleared 500 trees, are your goals to mass produce, or are you just lookin to grow a couple plants?
What strain do you got, if you dont mind sharing?

Yeah man when you figure in the vegging time your going to need your pushing August already. You may just be pushing it a little too late. If you had the vegging in, you would probably be gold. Whats tough is you can do it for the experience, but I imagine there be nothing worse than a nice grow running out of time and they cant properly finish.
