Has anyone tried growing in a Topsy Turvy?

Just got 2 in the mail. ;) Paid $7 shipped for them.. Next season is gonna be funny. :)
They're definitely worth doing. Keep an eye out for sales. The one I used was for flowers. It has 1 hole in the bottom and 3 spots on top. I found mine at Big Lots last year for $1.00 ea. I also have a Jelly Bean tomato and Black Cobra, Hungarian, & Fresno chili peppers. The Topsy turvy pepper planter holds 7 plants ea. planted vertically. I believe the flower and Tomato TT's hold the most soil. I have 1 gph drip system & they dry out FAST. It needs a lot of attention, but very well worth it.

Thanks for the positive feedback y'all!

Damn!
I like to exercise my plants with a mister/sprayer. It has always worked great for me. I never had any breakage when the limbs start to get bud laden. Last week I sprayed down my Topsy-Turvy and a major limb broke. I was able to save it with wire ties & a bungee but I'm treating her with kid gloves now. My brother says that marijuana isn't supposed to grow like that. Well, it is and he's not getting any!

BTW: She's Thai Stick from Marijuana-seeds.nl

I'll get my camera out & get some new pics posted.

That's a damn good idea! She spins 360 with the slightest breeze so you could have limited sun exposure and still grow a killer plant. Run a drip line up the tree & you're set!!!

Hot Damn! Next year! Thanks for the tip!

I did this for fun obviously but I have noticed a benefit over traditional growing. She has no bugs. I have others that get the normal bugs here and there but she has never shown any signs of insects. I find a moth here and there and have been checking for caterpillars and so far so good. Hope I didn't just jinx myself...

I have to give a big thanks to Rollitup! I never was a big typer but last year I stumbled upon this site. I looked around and felt right at home. Being a grower for myself only is a lonely practice. You can't share with friends and family like you would other subjects and hobbies. Rollitup taught me so much that was shared knowledge but I never had it. I was self taught up 'til then. We can all learn something new and this site and its members are the best. No BS just friendly folks growing and sharing ideas. It doesn't get much better than that.

:peace:
