Leave it in that cup for at least another week. You wanna make sure it has strong roots. When you transplant just cut the cup down the side and keep the dirt all together so you dont damage any roots. Make sure you got some good dirt and another pot ready with a hole pre dug in it. Just stick that wad of dirt from your cup with your seedlin in it directly in the new pot with the new dirt and bury it to the first set of leaves. Water it a tad and wait awhile.

the reason y your plants may be so tall indeed, may be to the strain as another poster (sativa or indica) already stated but another reason may be due to the light and how far it is from your plant you want it to develop a good root base then you want those lights as close as you can get it to the plant without burning it and damaging it otherwise known as a "leggy" plant meaning its stretching to get to light just another thing to keep in mind which leads to the last post what kind of lights are you using and how far from plant are you keepin them??

The holes are a good idea cause you don't want your plants sittin in water just let the soil get a little dry ( lightish brown) then water as nessary..
