Hi guys, I'm a newbie today

Hi guys,

im a newbie to all this, joined here today an started my 1st grow around 3 weeks ago.
After some long searching I decided on 2 strains which were Dutch passions blueberry as 1st pick an 2nd is Jorge Cervantes diamonds #1. In the end got a couple of each, I repotted them yesterday into 10ltr pots and put an extra 400w dual spectrum light along with the 600w I had them under for the last couple of weeks, but the 600 is in a cool tube an been struggling to get my temps above 23 but got a decent humidifier an I'm regularly on 70% plus, I've turned my 6" carbon fan pretty much off with the regulator I have on it an the heat temp still don't go up but hoping now with the addition of the 400 my heat temp should go up?
as I say this is all new to me an my 1st grow so any help or advice is welcomed.
im also using Dutch pro full line, along with halo. and have an 4" active intake which is all in a small tent,
ive also been told to veg until about 20 inches tall then turn?

thanks guys

if low temps is your problem your lucky, 99% of the rest of us struggle with high temps ..

use a heater/oil Radiator

Yea a heater would be great but be careful. I had to result to a heater at night but being as it doesnt have the best temperature control it got to 80 from 66 in my room within about 30 minutes and climbing. Caught it in time but if your going to do it try to invest in one that has an actual thermostat or at least a better one.

Welcome PJ. If 23 C = about 73 F, then it sounds like a good temp to me. I'd rather be a little low than too high because it's easier to get a cheap heater if needed. Beware of humidity being too high if that 's what 70% meant, maintain air flow or multiple bad things can happen. Good Luck.

nice to meet you pj! Can i see some pics soon? My only advice is this anytime somethings bothering you keep it kiss simple until you get a solid awenser!

Thanks for the replies guys!! I'm trying to upload some pics for you but it's proving hardwork on my mobile but will get some on here ASAP for you guys

And if you struggle with temps, then for £45 cool tubes are the way forward!! Will update later with temps after the addition of the 400w has been in there 24hrs, so I'm with 1000w rig I'm now expecting temps to go up so I've also turned fan/filter back up to 50% power

i got the same lighting as u, and im really disapointed with 600w cooltube light spread, my 400w no cooltube has a way bigger spread. If u still want higher temps swap the 400w into the cooltube as the 600w will produce more heat.
