'homemade' soil?

Alright so, I live in Canada and the places that have the pro-mix soil won't be having it in stock for another few weeks. And my seeds arrive this week- so with that being said:

Can anyone post up some info or 'recipes' if you will, of soil that works well? (like all the materials needed and nutrients and stuff I need for it, too)

I'd be really grateful, thanks!

I make my own mix, but it's something like 12-14 different ingredients and if the promix isn't out yet, many of these ingredients wouldn't be either. Just saying.

Find some bagged seed starting mix with NO added nutes and that should do just fine for the few weeks until the promix is stocked.

Be sure to grab a bag of dolomite or garden lime when you pick up the promix. NOT hydrated.

you could start your seeds in jiffy pots or peat...
and then by the time they're ready to transplant hopefully they'll have promix in stock...
you don't want to feed them until they're well-established anyway.
