How 'bout them Noles?

Our long national nightmare is over. The new season kicked off last night. Unlike last year, we beat the crap out of a cupcake, like good teams are supposed to do. Lots of new names to learn, and old favorites back from injury.

Florida State's football team became the first unbeaten, Power Five Conference champion to be left out of the playoff.

The game was set because an ACC champion not in the playoff faces the highest ranked non-playoff, non-champion of the SEC, Big Ten or Notre Dame and that's Georgia.

The Orange Bowl will kick off at 4 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 30 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens and be shown on ESPN.

The 13-0 Seminoles lost star quarterback Jordan Travis to a season-ending leg injury, backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker to a concussion and won the ACC championship 16-6 over Louisville Saturday night with third-string quarterback Brock Glenn, a true freshman.

OK, so we're not in the playoff's. Hopefully we will beat the bulldogs by a thigh margin to show playoff's election board how wrong they were for leaving us out.

We did look rough with the second string qb against the gates, but still with our D, I think we should have got a shot. Anyway, a lot of our best players are taking the game off due to the risk of injury.

My main pain is how bad the hoops team are looking. The court case in WV did allow us to play Premo for the first time. He will make a difference.

Real tough deal for FSU,don't think the commission had the balls to leave the SEC out, boiled down to how one interprets the formula, yeah FSU has a b/u QB but Bama needed a prayer against unranked Auburn in Iron Bowl also. Think they went w/perceived entertainment value of the 2 semis,I certainly would expect FSU to be furious.

Little Ronni Desantes and his Large Government set aside $1M to sue, which I thought was pretty comical. Everyone knows the NCAA is all about the money. I kind of saw it coming from how the talking heads were already making a case for the red tide while the last few seconds of the ACC Championship game were winding down.

The only respect I have for Desanti's is his military service, other than that he's part of the Rep. rogues gallery,he's all about stunts and the "lawsuit" is another eg. of that, for FSU if they are bringing back enough talent next yr. if their top 8 they are in,small consolation admittedly.

There is talk that Little Ronnie was present as a JAG lawyer when waterboarding was taking place in GETMO. I have no respect for him.

Gotcha, can't stand the guy either,I always respect mil. service, but that aside he gives me the creeps as do more than 50 Reps. in the House and a good 15-20 in the Senate, the House in particular needs an industrial disinfectant application.

Dehydrated bball. Noles got a big lead early, then slowly gave it up the rest of the night. My heart doesn't need these kinds of games.
