whatever happens down the road, ones reputation and career opportunities are sorta flushed. I always wonder what happens to people that go through this. I just saw the other day, Spitzer showed up again as a columnist for Slate online magazine....Talk about a change to ego and power realities.....and OJ gets 33 yrs! a sad ending to an awesome football career.

If convicted, Blagojevich will be looking at thirty years in federal prison. With that sentence facing him, he will roll over on a lot of people in order to make a deal. The guy's a scumbag, so you just KNOW he will roll over. I can hardly wait! :lol:

i noticed that too..if that fool had been a republican i promise you the media would be jumping up and down about it..the media is part of the problem..thank god most of them are going bankrupt..thanks to the internet..:hump:

They all identify him as a Democrat. Quit dreaming. I've seen some sidebar type articles discussing him where they leave it off, but any real news story explaining the situation mentions it.

Maybe they don't feel the need to point it out. If you live in Illinios, you already knew the guy is a democrat. He's on his second term (I don't know how he got re-elected though) so we are all aware of his party. It still doesn't mean anything, there are just as many crooks in every political party.

Hell just look at what Bushie the kid has done for us. Major employers are shutting down where I live, people are desperate, we've even started locking our house. It's bad, even our town newspaper is shutting down. Thanks Bush and the Republican party, we didn't want jobs or newpapers anyway.

Luckily I homeschooled my daughter for High School and she took a GED test instead. She scored at a level higher than 96 % of graduating seniors. ^5 to her.

No, thanks anyway. But in case you missed it, he was blaming the teachers unions for the dumbing down of America, I disagree.

I would have to blame the government for the dumbing down of America. Teachers don't get paid shit. Teachers are in charge of molding the future leaders of America, they should be getting the same kind of salaries that pro athletes get if you ask me.

It is just plain stupid to keep the people who teach our children at poverty level salaries. Maybe it's time to shift the funds in that direction and the politicians can hold bake sales to get what they need.

However it plays right into the politicians hands for our schools to be barely adequate. If our kids actually learned they would grow up and oust those in charge.
