Is she ready to chop?? Give me your opinion...

Hey All,

This is my PC Grow. Today is the 8th week of flowering. Between 45-50% of the hairs have turned red or orange. Trichomes are 8% clear, 90% cloudy, 2% amber. The plant should have 2 more tops but during the first week of flower I accidently snapped the main stem in half. Its definitely not going to be a huge yield but I do not really care as long as it is dank. My camera sucks so this is the best I can do.

Based on the info and pics do you think they look ready?

If not, how much longer would you let them go (couple days, 1 week, 2 weeks)?

Also since my camera is shitty and you cant really see the size of the buds...

The two biggest buds are 5-6 inches tall and are 1.5-2 inches wide

The other three buds are about 4 inches tall and are about 1.5 inches wide

Any idea on what I can expect dry weight??

You don't have that many amber's. If you harvest it now you'll expect an overall even high, if you want a narcotic-couchlock high, wait another week. Do what you want to do and what feels right to you. Tell me what the dry weight is bro

Is their any light leaks in your room. It almost seems as if they are starting to re veg on top with all the singular new leaves shooting out.

What strain is it? What does the website that sells that strain recommend for flower time? isnt a typical flower cycle 60 days? What do the grow journals on this site typically use as a flowering time?

I dont know the answer as Im kinda new to this stuff as well... but these are places where I would look for the answers.

Dr. Greenthumb - Golden Haze - 100 days flowering time.
Ace Seeds - Green Haze X Thai - 119 days flowering time.

Around 60 days would be typical for something predominantly indica or pure indica but when you mix in some sativa the time tends to stretch out a bit. The ones above are extremes, and some have been even more extreme, but there are also a large number of strains that finish in the 90-day range and in the 80-day range and the 70-day range.

Thanks for your thoughts...I have decided to wait it out another 5 days or so. I looked at a lot of finished journals and the majority of them have said when you think its about ready let it go 1-2 more weeks.

I think this new growth what you are seeing is due to a late lst of that top. It was touching the light so I bent it down and within 2 days it had that growth already...but its also covered in crystals.

Strain is unknown just got it out of some random bag seed. So that could mix things up quite a bit
