HVAC help , please take a peek @ pics HVAC help, please take a look...
Hi I am trying to figure out how I can use this KEEPRITE UNIT COOLER. I know that I have seen these in various growrooms over the years online and in magazines. The unit came from a walk in freezer at a restaurant . I got it from a guy that did the demolition there for a good price. I figured that it would be useful for a few different things but frankly I haven't quit sorted out exactly how it works, or if there is other parts I need..

anyway back to the unit...

its a KEEPRITE UNIT COOLER: KUCA62-CED
I have taken a bunch of pictures from all sides and close-up of the label tag that explains the details.. The power says 208/230 and luckily my shop is actually 208y volts right out of my transformer.. So thats looking like a good alignment...

Now I haven't really sorted out the way to use this thing but I know there has to be some angle I can use this unit cooler..

I have to admit that I really feel like a newbie when it comes to this KEEPRITE COOLER UNIT.. Its as if I just bought my first grow light and dont have a clue what to due next, like a kid again.... But I have seen these for many years in threads and magazines. So as soon as I seen it locally I knew it was going home with me as it must have some magic HVAC powers.. BUT WHAT its does is still unclear to me...

MY FEEBLE IDEAS: (please dont laugh, I am hvac pre-schooler)

1.initially I was thinking that I could run warm water through it which would be cooler through the radiator and fans. But I dont think thats what its ment for plus it doesnt have titanium coils.. So that's not the correct application...

2. Next idea was that I COULD run a 1hp water chiller that I have to this unit . I was thinking that it would allow the cold water to be converted to cold air and work to COOL the grow room like an AIR CONDITIONER.. But Im not sure if that what this unit is meant for either

3. Use it as a water cooled air exchanger by running tap water direct to the KEEPRITE unit. This is much the same as many of the water cooled a/c units I have seen before but again I have no real hands on experience with those either..

4. I really have no idea what to do with this unit and now I have run out of ideas.. I need someone who has some knowledge about what this does , please.. I haven't got much invested into this thing but Im pretty sure its gonna be useful..in one way or another...

----------------------------------------------------------
in my shop there is no actual HVAC venting at all.. No furnace , now plenum, no infrastructure to tie into for an A/c unit.. The only heating is done by a electric heater that hangs from the ceiling..

ok please take a look at the picture of the KEEPRITE..
I know that its hard to get an idea of size from the pictures but I will roughly estimate the stats..
wiegh: 50-60lbs
height: 15 "
depth : 8"
width :3.5 feet

so there ya go.. Please try and give advice on this and what can be done with it in a modern grow room application..

Just hope that someone can tell me what I can do with this damn KEEPRITE COOLING UNIT... And what other components I would need to make it functional...Like I said a friend has given me a large water chiller. But not sure if thats the right direction...

thanks for stoppin in and hope to read your masterful knowledge come flowing out in posts..

cheers.. here is the pics///
