but i never realized i could b my own caregiver,that's an interesting option i didn't think was available. i will b looking into that in the future but I'm finally getting medicated and seeing great results ! I'm off all if the heavy duty pain killers for the first time in 10plus years. the system needs work but I'm hopeful going forward.as far as i know a caregiver can go get your meds for u at dispensary or they can grow it for you. they dont charge like a dispensary you give them a "donation" or they give you a certain amount monthly for free. they can only havex amt of pts and grow the 2.5 oz per pt then they agree to give the pts x amt of weed per mo and they keep the rest to sell to dispensary,thats how they get pd. this was important in the beginning in ct when no dipensaries were open yet or now because it would b cheaper for pt and we cant grow our own in ct. did i cover it
?so your saying a caregiver can grow ? why isn't the patient allowed to grow ?
yeah,i know its so stupid,its just how they made the law. i think its all about the mighty dollar,u know ct. theyre charging millions to open a dispensary so they had to make sure thats where we buy our meds,like a gaurantee to the dis owners. if more people who grew would step forward as caregivers and get us our meds cheaper we could boycot the disp. and still get our meds but theyre scared of the feds...they could still get busted by them...its nuts, things do keep changing,so hopefully it will get better. be hopefull
