Now, the industry here is wild up and down. There are really no solid prices than whatever you get a dispensary, this is what is making getting your business license so hard. If you are local to the area would like to share what expertise you may have in this field, please do share.

if i was trying to figure this shit out, i'd talk to as many black market people as i could get to talk to me, then go to every dispensary in the area. average the black market prices, and the dispensary prices. that should give you a fair idea of what you should expect to pay for it, and what you should be able to get away with charging for it.

The Tier 1 growers (500 ft canopy) sure will have high capital expenditures with tagging, record keeping,720 dpi IP security cameras, fencing, labor for all the above. Then there are inspections, town permits, food manufacturing facilities/permits for edibles.

You have to pass criminal background, that seems rather over reach. It's a f&*kin plant, not defense manufacturing....The Tier 2/3 growers will need boutique retail and concentrates sales to make ends.
I looked at the 74 pages of rules, Tier 4 growers won't take long to get cooking, it's just money.

The Nursery licence seems like a deal, compared to the others.
The kids running around with the app delivery services, don't see where they fit in.:)

I'm in Vermont the reason they legalized was Maine and Mass and they couldn't handle the court cases cross state trafficking.
We are at the mercy of the Federal Government until the States reject their laws and make up their own, like owning slaves.
The State laws govern until other states don't do things the same way. This is how the civil war started, its going to have to be legalized on a federal level to have any consistency or people just breaking the law. Its nuts..

It's asinine and as you mentioned, slavish. The whole fucking thing, always has been.

Any State that benefits from fees, taxes etc. gained from "state legal cannabis" is legally speaking committing "a federal crime". Therefore all of their agents, cops, prosecutors, judges, clerks, etc. work for a "federal crime organization".

The duplicitous contradictions are low hanging fruit for any pro se defendant or lawyer with balls (are there any of those?) who wants to make a monkey out of a cop (who is representing his state) on the witness stand in front of a jury.

Wouldn't be hard using the right line of questioning to get a cop to have to admit he works for an organization (his employer, the state) that "commits federal crimes" .

"Your honor, I'd like the court to take record, that this witness, (the cop) an admitted member of an organization engaged in committing federal crimes, testimony be given the proper scrutiny it deserves, blah blah, blah " (You'd know in a hurry who on the jury was on your side, by their reactions)

"You are aware that your paycheck (from the state or a state subsidiary, a town or city) was at least partially funded by a federal crime, is that correct, Officer Dickwadd" ?

If he answers, no, you play the ignorance of the law is no excuse card and ask him if he is aware of any other federal crimes he's involved with and does he think he is "above the law" etc.

If he answers yes, you ask when he will be turning himself into the feds for his punishment and would he care to donate that part of his paycheck that was gained from a federal crime commission to any charities. You also ask if he's aware of any penalties he might face for his aiding and abetting the state in the commission of federal crime committing etc.

Juror nullification should be fun!

A good website to learn about juror nullification is fija.org

It stands for fully informed jury. The link is right below.
