Hello and Welcome Everyone.

First I would like to say Thank You to “@MarsHydrofactory”for the great contests they hold on Rui.

I was lucky enough to Tie @Rolla J in the Black Friday contest.

Head out to www.mars-hydro.com if your looking for a great fixture for coverage.

What I will be growing in here is a MarsHydro
150x150x200cm or 5x5x6ft tent .

The tent ports are very generous to be able to stuff your equipment through and very adequate.

With the tent being 6 ft tall I opted to mount my exhaust fans on the roof to maximize how high I can pull my light up.

The inside of the tent is very reflective and looks like it will do a banging job.

Great tent overall, no light leaks along the zipper . Thumbs up.

MarsHydro was kind enough to send me this Wicked, FC E6500

It arrived in a brown box labeled fragile.

After setting a couple pieces of the packing foam on the floor , assembly only take 10 minutes.

Measuring corner to corner to make sure it’s square.

Its a tight squeeze but this bad boy fits in there perfectly.

The plan is to run pair of Chocolate Diesel and Chocolate Covered Strawberries from, Useful Seeds Spread the Love collection.

Yes there potential for issue with 2 strains in the same pot of water , but there are some similarities so I’m going for it.

I have had some bad ass luck with the seeds so far , germination without surfacing .

Or better yet, my head stuck in the ground like ostrich and it snaps itself.

This veg is going to take a little bit longer but in the end hopefully everyone will be happy with the results.

Going to start with just a dwc bucket here for a bit and then see how the chips fall.

Bucket is holding 5 gallons of ro water, I have added 2ml per gallon of botanicare calmag , 10ml .
A few drops of ph down to 5.9
2ml of orca
2 big air stones as this water doesn’t move.

I use the current culture pots which have a raised platform in bottom.
Seedling was placed here as past issues of roots not growing well through the lava , so if roots have eyes they can see the prize.

Water level is just below the net pot.

Lights at 50 % and plants see about 325 ppfd using Photone app.

Once we get this rolling , plants will be in the rdwc system.

Running one big container of water and nutes can be simple at times , it could go the other way just a quick also.
But not looking for that one.

I have made a plumbing change finishing a falls to each tote , this should really help to keep it stirred up and put and end to the air pump .
Haven’t tested for pressure yet but single line follows a double split quite well , hopefully a quad will also.

Here is a pic inside.

And the second CCS coming to life.

I grew out choc diesel x blue Dream and enjoyed it. Good luck
Now there is something I purchase at times from the local dispensary, Blue Dream .

They grow it here inhouse and I have asked the girls if they sell cuttings .

Surely over these next many grows I will find something I will really enjoy if not all from Useful Seeds.

The blueberry chocolate is near the top.

Enjoy and Thank You for the support.

Here are the trio .

I just threw the last of the chocolate diesel seed in the paper towel as the fifth is not much better after a 20 hour soak then another 30 in towel its not looking promising.

I have the one and will try and work some magic on it if that’s all I get .

Chocolate diesel to the right ,strawberrys to the left.

Roots are just visible maybe 2 days they will touch.

5ml of Rapid Root has been added, ph stayed the same at 6 so did not touch.

Good evening.

Very small changes but the good news I’ve got matching sisters.

The environment has been a bit chilly as the Fce 6500 at 50% doesn’t give much heat.

So a secondary heat source will be needed depending on climate.

The strawberry seedling is a bit overwater but should see improvements soon on it after wring out while the chocolate diesel tries to catch up.

Just a bit of musical chairs the last few days .

Just bringing a seedling back from the brink of death , but better days ahead.

Everyone has a root on except gull wing as I have been calling her. I have overwatered by keeping the cup on too long .

She will now compete with the 8 day old .

Everyone will head to the undercurrent this weekend.

Here they are enjoying the MarsHydro rays.

Good morning everyone.

Had a chance to fill up the rdwc and run the extra waterfalls.

Its splashing in each disrupting the surface water.

Air pump will now be used in dwc.

Ro water
Botanicare calmag 3ml per gal ( I believe that put me 190 ppm)
Botanicare kind and base at there recommended mixing rates, 100 ppm worth.
Hydroguard and orca.

Total 290ppm so an ec of .58

Ph was 6 , will probably adjust that to 5.8 tomorrow.

Light is hanging about 24 inches and running about 60 .

Room temp is close to 80 lights on and a few degrees cooler at night.

Good Evening.

Having a heck of a time with this seedling , so resolve is in the works while I watch it dwindle away.

Plants have been in for 4 days , 3 are rooted with one about 7-10 days behind.

Mainline has been started on 2

Chiller is on , it’s just too hot .

Plants seem to be enjoying the fce6500 , I do have a new accessory in the works for it.

I will show once I’m sure the bugs are worked out.

Bangi Haze to help mainline 79C6CA80-9A79-44F1-ABCC-B5086438EA79.jpegC1AF1175-F728-4A10-876C-62500CB09BAC.jpeg8282C706-22BE-4B0C-A62A-7CB402EECAFE.jpeg

Enjoy

I now have 3 worthy of picture.

Carefully tying these small branches down as best I can without damage.

So far they continue to fight for there chance to bath in the light.

Just chugging along.

Second top has be made on the two larger ones and a first topping on the third while I await the 4th .

The ladies seem to be really enjoying the mars hydro fce6500.

It was a bit tricky at first but after a bit of machining I now have a lifting system to adjust from right out front with ease.

190ppm calmag
120 ppm kind grow and base as per mixing rate
310ppm or .62 ec
Combination of hydroguard and orca , once the hydroguard is gone , orca will only be used.
5.8 ph
20.5 water temp setting

Enjoy
