Cool bro, I feel ya man. Im gonna keep my journal going too . . Just a small closet grow but one day ill aspire for greatness lol
 
We do win. I've seen the setup one of us just won, no names, they're legit. Also this contest is, from my understanding, RIU exclusive. I'm hoping maybe there is a "Miss Congeniality" kind thing. Either way I've still won. After 20 years of shady, stupid, risks, I finally can grow, have, and consume a few plants without fear of persecution. and prosecution for that matter. I've already got the cake, this, eating it as well. Winning? That would be the icing.

This contest is only for RIU folks with a grow journal using Mars Hydro. There may be separate contests out there but this was Mars Hydro's promotion on this site as advertisers. They do this often, they are a very cool group to have here. They have made many RIU users happy.
 
Well, I missed last night... oops. The angle is different, I rearranged the tent for better light usage. I don't have lights that can reach completely side to side, yet. Here's the whole tent.

Haven't really worked with Cookie anymore. She is just doing her thing. Im going to make her a few more weights so I can really get her spread out. Her tent mate, Cara, has started to stack! And I've got to really start watching her as I've treated a branch with STS and she is forming pollen sacs.

Man I wish I had the balls to grow in hydroponics. I get scared of leaks. I grow in my bedroom. Moving it to the garage for the summer.
 
I think the fact I am dwc saved my girls this past summer. It easily got into the high 90s (I didn't have my ts 600s yet) in my tent this summer but my girls did fine. I heard of soil and coco growers frying at those temps. I haven't and don't watch my water temps, only because i don't really have a way to control it. I'm single site DWC for mobility, with 6 bins/ buckets/ sites individual heaters are not realistic. Re-circ may resolve this but that is where I would worry about leaks.
 
Took longer than I thought it would tonight, everyone needed attention. I re- LST'd Cookie tonight and added another training device(just stripped copper wire and PVC pipe she looks like she is trying to limbo!

That's a risky bend. Good job for pulling it off. looks like she's gonna be a full blown bush once that main top shoots back upward.
 
Last was the 8th and then we got hit with some arctic temperatures. The girls are doing fine, if a bit cold. They have their heaters going almost non stop and it is 60-65°in the tents. Hopefully this doesn't last too long. I will be flipping red hot cookies probably next week. 8 know she won't be finished by the end of the contest although I do have a pineapple Express that should be finishing up about that time.
