Micrscope

I picked up one of these. 62x to 100x - wow.

The only thing I don't like about it - you have to force bud against scope.

With that being said - nice to see the trichomes up close.

This is a major part of why you par take in this great plant.

Checkout what you have and you can tell if your grower -or you - harvested at the correct time.

nice scope Mike, I'm going to order a Celestron USB scope from Amazon.com they work on mac and pc so I'm covered on both my platforms. I think it's about $45 shipped. I bought my brother that same scope a few years ago for my brother for Christmas. I got to see it and it's sweet and now it's almost half the price I paid for my bros. two years ago.

I can't tell from the thumbnail pic what brand your scope is, can you tell me what brand/model you have there and where you got it and price if you don't mind. I'm leaning towards that Celestron but if there's a better deal out there I'm down with it!

i want one of those toy microscopes that you can hook to the computer. they are marketed as kid's toys but work well and are cheaper than "grownup" scopes. i have the radio shack version of the 420 scope. just want to go on record as saying that the 420 scope is a major fucking ripoff. it works fine but it's the exact same scope as radio shack except it's 15 dollars more because they wrote 420 on it. i find it works better at 60x than 100x. at 100x just breathing moves the scope too much. and the op is right about needing to get all up in the bud. mine is all gooey now.

Yeah, I have the radio shack one, think I paid like 8 bucks. It IS hard to keep it focused on one spot for a while, but in a pinch it'll definately do the trick. I think the way to go is the USB scopes, and if you can get one for like 45 bucks shipped I'll definately be picking one up before harvest.
