Misting while flowering? Should I or......

Hi all, I have had my 2 girls switched to 12/12 for about 15 days now and was wondering if misting the leaves when watering is good or bad? I havent been doing it but my leaves are starting to get a little wilty. Should I give them more water through soil? I have them in like 2.5 gallon buckets and have been watering with about 1/4 gallon of water with a half dose of jack's classic 10-30-20 everyday mid day. i run a 400w hps in my closet and the temp is a solid 83-90, wouldnt it be warm enough to evaporate the water off the buds and not let them create mold. If someone could help me with that I would really appreciate it.

well, you can do what you like, but if this were me...
i wouldnt mist in flower. but thats just because thats how my shit likes it.

is the soil dry every time that you water?
the bucket should feel light when you pick it up.
they can wilt from under watering or over watering.
it kinda sounds like you might be over watering.

i stick my finger about 2 inches into the top of the soil and its usually pretty dry before i water. I haven't really noticed a huge differance when i lift the buckets.

ya that 2 inches in the dirt, is a really good rule of thumb, but sometimes there's other factors, and you kinda just pick it up from experience.
sometimes giving your plant too much love can be bad for it.
how tall is your plant? how long did you veg before flower?

You should use the lift method brothers, its much easier and more accurate than that top 2 inch test. lift the pot after it being fully watered, now lift one of a plant that needs to be watered, feel the difference in weight? It's easy as hell guys, youll quickly get the hang of it, i wouldnt steer you wrong. Do not mist during flowering, you are inviting powdery mildew/mold/bud rot in by doing so.

ok yeah i read that it could create mold sometimes and screw up the crystals and what not. Both of my plant are around 32-34" they were about 23 when I switched my light time. There looking healthy and everything and really budding up, just a few leaves were starting to go limp on them. I thought maybe it was because I quit misting them. I'll try t figure out the lifting technique.
