Molasses Questions

Hey guys! It is my first grow i have a few questions about molasses, first one i have is when is it good to start using it?

And second i found this one brand of Molasses it says 1-0-4 is that good for cannabis?

I added pictures of the buds it is my first grow so i am getting a hang of how to measure the buds age (week 1 week 2 etc)

I heard it makes the buds get "fat" and gives bigger yields

Molasses are food for biology and a little goes along way I only use molasses for boosting Biology in a brew i use blackstrap good luck op ☮

Thanks man, i have been using nutrients every other week the plant is in soil i got from a green house compost stuff, will the molasses help or do you think nutrients is enough?

If you want to use molasses to feed the soil just get a cheap jar of Grandma's unsulphured from the grocery store for a few bucks.

I don't use it but I think most use around 1 tbsp per gallon.

If you’re not brew teas it’s not worth using. Molasses is for feed bacteria nothing more. It doesn’t help buds getting bigger or produce more frost or anything. Molasses is good for making cookies too but that’s about it.

It's better to use it in teas and brews as many suggested. Molasses is often overused and causes pH problems because it's used in every feeding.

You feed the microbes, not the plant. Microbes don't need much in terms of available sugars to flourish.

Personally I wouldn't bother I have seen all sorts of issues caused by the incorrect use of molasses. I use a feed called Blattwerk Pure, it uses molasses. I use it once a week at 25% strength with a touch of Epsom Salts during veg, after that I don't bother.
