ok i have a question, i grow mine outside in rich soil... their gettin bigger almost 3 1/2 ft tall and they been outside since 2 months ago, what should i do for them to grow big buds?? the smell from them is GREAT =]

Depending on where ya live, 12-12 will start, prob around august middle or so. Bud production will go to October, then harvest time. You can check local sunset/sunrise times at weather sites.

Pull them down now---you don't want them to0 dry and you can always fine tune them in the cure jars----

well i did pullem after the 6th day and put the in jars in the fridge...what do you mean by fine tune them? they seem pretty soft in the jars and they dont crumble at all.....but from my sample testing (love that shit) they are awesome even before curing.

I think the green/grassy smell has to do with Chlorophyll. Once your start curing i think this breaks the the process down in which gives you stinky dank:-) I may be wrong though.

Hank.
spot on do the jar cure burp them a few times a day so ya dont get mold then just wait 6-8 weeks "bam" delish.

For the first 2 weeks they are in jars you need to open for 30 min a day to let out built up gases/chlorophyll being let off. Plus the last bit of water in the stems is sucked out into the buds, y don't want any mold.

STOP RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE!! get those jars out of the fridge!!!! for 1 they need to be in those jars in a dark cool space for awhile, burping ocassionaly all depends on how long you want to cure.....the fridge is a bad idea, condinsation and moisture will build up in those jars, and the light in the fridge aint helping the matter any, light degrades THC, If im wrong someone please tell me

thanks B, i do have them in there own private little fridge, i been burping the twice a day for a few seconds but now i know leave it open for 30min......[/
Gently place your marijuana in the containers (cut buds to size if the are too big to fit in the container) and put the top on. Store the containers in a dark area where the temperature is between 50-65 degrees and the humidity is between 40%-60%.
You will have to open the containers for a few minutes to allow moisture to escape by fanning with your hand. If any moisture builds up on the inside of the cap on your container, wipe it off. Do this preferably 2-6 times daily, at regular 4-12 hour intervals.
You should also re-arrange the buds by giving them a quarter-turn once a day. This will ensure that different parts of the buds are exposed to the air in the container. Keep up this routine for 7-10 days. When properly dried, marijuana will burn evenly when smoked in a joint (if stems are removed).
The taste will be as good as it can be, and the THC will have reached a point where it is ready to be ingested or stored. You can keep any marijuana that will be consumed within a few months (1 year maximum) in the same containers used for curing, without having to keep opening them to release moisture.
If the marijuana is to be stored for more than a few months, you can use a vacuum sealer (designed for storing food) to seal the marijuana in an airtight environment. If stored in a dark area that is between 40-55 degrees F, the marijuana in vacuum sealed plastic will remain potent for up to 5 years.

Great post!
One Q. Why does the humidity of the dark area matter? Its in a sealed jar. :)

I just tossed mine into the wine fridge. Temps are ideal.
