NJ / RI reciprocity?

What's up all...
Here's my hypothetical, soon to be Reality, scenario.
I'm moving back to the East Coast, to Rhode Island, where they have a Real mmj program that allows you to grow your own. Wow! Imagine!
When I visit my Fam in Jers, God forbid I get pulled over, and I show my Rhode Island card, since NJ now has a card, should I be good?
Of course I wouldn't be carrying more than the limit, all in one jar, etc etc.
I realize that the states in between could pose a threat, but as far as being In Jersey, that has a mmj law, and me with a legal RI card...
I wouldn't be trying to use the NJ dispensaries (10%?! Thanks but nahhh).
What do you guys think?
Thanks::::

You're totally fine. Our friend has a card from Cali and lives in new jersey and still has his meds mailed to him it is totally legal they have to respect your card.

No they don't.......bad answer. Calif law has no bearing in N.J. Whether they choose to or not is a different question.

Thanks for the replies. Decided to move back to Maui instead, so it's going to be a non-issue. Blue Card and 7 plants under Hawaiian sun... here I come.

Just a note* Both states need reciprocity clauses in order to permit the clause. ie: RI has a Rec. Clause and so does Michigan; so patients in those two states may operate under the MMP laws of the state they are visiting. ie. When I go Michigan this winter I'm not going to be dry; It's going to be raining resin.
