No timer. Help!

So tomorrow I have to go to an all day event starting at 8:40 AM

My plant is in the third week of flowering and blooming nicely.
My lights are currently set to a strict schedule of 10:00AM Dawn 10:00PM Night

I have no timer, I know it sucks but there it is. Thats not the question.
I am wondering wether it is better to turn the lights on at 8:40 AM
or wait till I have a break at Noon to come home and turn them on again. The other problem is that I'll be getting back home at 11:00PM

shitty situation. Im just wondering wether more light or more dark would be a safer solution.

get a timer they are like 5 bucks. I would say less light probably. Not for sure though.
