OH NO Broken BRANCH

So i just had a slip of hand and broke one of my top branches on my mother plant. It has a three top to the plant and one of them just split when I slipped!
What should I do? Should I clone that top branch as fast as possible, or tape it back (Still partially connected)
Is this going to kill my momma plant? I am so afraid :(

I am going to hold her back together right now and hope things can be saved. I might do the clones asap too. :( Help if you have answers

You can clone it, or tape it back up she'll be fine. MJ plants are pretty strong, if you tape it back up just make sure its completely touching where it broke off it'll callous up in a week or two.

Thanks. I taped it back quickly and took some clones off. But now she is a little lopsided, so I have more cloning to do. I hope she survives :( I used duct tape because it was all I had

You pretty much just supercropped your plant. Just give her a few days with tape and she'll be just fine.

I have broken branches several times trying to bend them. I have tried tying and taping and both worked fine. Like Cadillac said, they are amazingly resilient!!!

Thanks for reassurance! Here are some quick shots of what just happened. A little background info on her. She is a Banana Kush mother picked up from a local dispensary.
