I have a friend that has been growing his plant for about a month and a half. He put 2 seeds a 3 gallon pot and now they are about 8 inches tall or so. The 1 in the middle is coming out with hairs and believes it to be a female, the other next to it is still hairless and hasn't showed signs of sex. I think it's a male because they were both planted at the same time and if one is showing signs of female and the other one isn't doing anything then I'd assume that is what is going on, but I could be wrong, as I usually am. So do you guys think she seperate the plants before they get over crowded and it becomes root bound or let them both grow a bit bigger and see what the sex of the other plant is first?
My next question is... we went today and bought some bone and blood meal, but they were mixed together coming in little pebble shapes, and she also got some fish emulsion. How much fish emulsion should she put on the plant and when should she switch it over to bone and blood meal? Can she put the bone and blood meal on top of the soil and maybe the plants will be able to get the nutrients like that?
when should she begin to put fish emulsion in the soil?
thanks guys, you're the best
