Organicide?

ive been using organicide for the past few weeks (i just started flowering this week) for what look like tiny gnats flying around and crawling in my soil but all it has done is made my plants smell like fish and my leaves are waxy and curl under a bit. has anyone used this pesticide before and did your buds come out smelling like fish or tasting nasty? or should i just stop using it and leave the bugs alone?
