hello good afternoon. quick question on nute lock in DWC. In week 5 rn started from seed & plants were going good then maybe 8-9 days ago slightly over fed and haven't seen any growth in past few days. I topped the res this AM and if by Wed/Thurs water level shows they're not feeding then yep, 100% nute lock. Question is if i take cuttings today, if a plant has nute lock will the cuttings be good? Thank u.

You typically reduce N on a plant before taking cuttings or shouldn't be from an overfed mother.Bro science maybe?
Just like you shouldn't flip an unhealthy plant?
Ive taken clones from all sorts of deficient plants, not ideal but it still works.

thanks, just gonna drop the ppm to zero and giv it a few days. science is dope though. been running dwc maybe 5yrs now and have only gotten nute lock in flower, never in veg. Grow environment is stable but last week when i topped off their res I topped off with the wrong bucket, instead of using the mix for these ladies i used the feed for my bigger plants into their reservoir. I just diluted then & readjusted pH/EC but it may have been too late as I didn't realize it til days later. I just topped off the reservoir this AM so hoping by Wed/Thurs I can see if they've been feeding again. These are just nice cuts & I'd rather clone them vs starting all over from seed.
