Problems With Dry Ice Hash

So I picked up a 5lb bag of ice-cube sized dry ice. I used about 3-4 ounces of dried trim, over several extract attempts. Put them in a small paint bucket. I have 1 gallon Vivosun bags, small set. I tried 160, then worked my way down to 75(?)

I'm only getting greenish colored dust, smells like plant matter. I thought going lower would surely thin out the plant matter and separate the trichome heads.

I ended up with several green pucks that were formed from my small hand-hash press.

The idea was to make a temple balls, to heat the hash and press it between plastic and roll it into a ball. The videos I saw people doing it in were using a more yellow/brown colored dust. They first used dry ice hash also.

Any ideas on where I might have gone wrong?

one more question... do you mean shaking up the dried trim in the bucket with the dry ice? The guy in the video said 4 minutes of agitation.

or are you referring to when the bucket is upside down over the flat surface?

Yeah you only want to shake for like 30 seconds to a min max once it's in the bag with the dry ice, because the plant matter starts breaking down where it will also come out the screen, watching the color is key as well, if it starts being more greenish it's done.
I watched this video to learn.

don’t even need a bucket just put some ice and trim in the bag and shake it over a large flat area in small piles until it becomes green. I have a piece of plexiglass and 90u bag

Plenty of water. Little ice. Limited agitation at gentle speed. And freeze buds thoroughly.
I have a set of bags and planned on trying this for my trim soon, and maybe a few oz of stuff that didn't turn out great. You mean water and a little dry ice right? How long do you agitate on average, and dry? I plan on getting a rosin press too to press my sift as I never was a fan of normal hash.

Bubble hash is made by using regular ice and water. Dry ice is when you use a dry sift or shaking technique. Do a search for Frenchy Canoli's bubble hash series, he's was best in my opinion.

With the dry ice method, the material has to be dry, right? I'm trying to convert my dad over from wasting all of his time with bubble hash.
