Thanks man. I heard that from another grower also. Said he came down to the grow room in the morning and the insulation was soaked laying on the floor. Yikes! From what I read as long as you seal the ducting air tight no condensation should occur, because no warm air in the basement is making contact with the cold air inside of the tube. I sealed the insulated ducting sleeve with gorilla tape at every connection. Pain in the royal dick, but my AC hasn't ran in 3 days I think so far. It consumed about 20 hours of labor between getting supplies and executing the actual work including replacing the grill outside with an intake style grill. Completely worth it though. My portable AC adds $200 on the electric bill every month. In 4 months I'll save $800 while being able to run my grow room at full power and keep temperatures cooler than they were with the AC cranking non stop. I'm hoping to have the mini split installed in the spring. Hoping is the operative word
Tomorrow I'm doing a pre-harvest inspection on all the ladies in the flower room. Depending on how things are looking I may start harvesting 2 plants/day on Thursday. I'll figure out which ones need to be chopped first so I've got a game plan on how this is going to unfold. I do know the ghost train and 2 black widows will go every bit of 10 weeks if not a little longer, so they're gonna cook a little longer and will be the final 3 plants harvested. I'm excited. The plants are in the ripening phase now. Just falling allover the place getting prettier by the day hardening off
