Renos first pot shop is a joke

That's a bummer. Is it the spot over off East McCarran?
Yeah, on Greg Street in that little piece of land that used to be a waste area years ago. I stopped in there a week ago and waited for about 15 minutes, looked at how long the list was for the wait, and walked out. There were about 10 people in front of me on a Monday morning. I just thought I'd pick up a sample to see if the shit was any good but I ain't fucking waiting to buy overpriced weed since I still have inventory at home from over two years ago and it's probably better or just as good as their stock. It was a nice facility though but it's still way overboard for just a plant.

That sucks.... I'm almost out and about 6-8 weeks away from harvest. I guess I'll just wait, at those prices.

Well, I got curious and went to Silver State Relief the other day. Things seem to have changed some since you were there, norcal. The prices are about the same, but the Blue Dream I got was 22.7% THC and was very good stuff. The wait wasn't bad and the staff was super friendly. For those who can't grow their own, or have money to burn (which I don't, but I thought I'd treat myself to a 1/4), I would recommend it.

I didn't even go, I looked it up online. I'll give you a bag if you need, I would rather donate mine, than support prices like that. I'm a organic, no spray gardener and I'm guess they are not.

I'm looking forward to checking it out one of these days. A buddy told me they are trying to get more inventory and variety in.

I've been up to SL Tahoe a couple times and visited Tahoe Wellness Cooperative. Good selection, friendly and helpful staff, pricing is about the same. But I imagine operating costs aren't cheap to run a dispensary. They do come in handy in a pinch though!

I don't usually post on a thread as old as this but here goes. First off Norcal that's really decent of you to offer up a donation like that. Kudos.
Things in this state will start to come down soon I promise, the first people to open will always have high prices but as competition starts the prices will drop. I saw it when I worked in the industry in Colorado and Im sure the same thing will happen here. There are other guys gearing up big grows and youll see better quality and price drops

Kinda crazy that some years ago an oz was 500. Way before dispensaries.

And come to find out growing your own isn't that cheap lolol! But it is a good time and your meds are quality.

When I think about their overhead, grow costs etc..., their prices aren't too far out of line. I still cringe whenever I do pick up dry goods. But then I think, "This is legal and still way cheaper than back in the day." Sign me up!

It's insane. The cost. You need to declare your shops don't sell the strains you need and then you can keep growing it legally. Isn't that how it works? I have a few months until I need to renew.

Thanks, I'm thinking with SoCal and Las Vegas influencing prices they might stay higher than Colorado but will see.
