Saponins from Quillaja

I'm thinking of trying some Saponins in my living soil. Is anyone using and what type of benefits are you seeing? I've read that it can kill nematodes.

I didn’t realize people put that in their soil. The bag I bought was pretty small and wasn’t cheap, from BAS. To my knowledge without googling, I thought it was for foliar.

Absolutely. Great foliar benefits by softening the plant walls. I'm on the fence because of that expense but the dual-purpose of soil drench/foliar feed is nice. I've used ThermX70 but it is messy and also pricey. Have you seen noticeable benefits from your foliar application of BAS Quillaja?

I’ve only foliar sprayed twice now so can’t say, but I actually did soil drench the rest of my foliar spray and it definitely helped the dried SPM absorb the water rather than it sitting on top and slowly absorbing

I water thermx in about twice a month at 1/4tsp per gallon. Never noticed a major impact on my biology, can't really speak too much on it killing nematodes, but my fungus gnats still disappeared after treating with nematodes even though I kept using thermx70.

I use fresh aloe and yucca root powder. I can't even remember the last time I bought a bottle surfactant.
