My coolers are only a little more than halfway full. I have 3-1/2" more until the water level would hit the bottom of the net pots, I could easily fit another 2.5 gallons in per reservoir, maybe more. I also think I could go to 12 air stones total considering the size giving each tub it's own 6 line pump. Do you think that might land me somewhere more agreeable on quantity with the addition of my new light to hold off switching set ups mid grow?
You always want to maintain 1-2" from the bottom of the net cups, to the water.
So I've decided it's too much for me in my life right now to add a third tank. I'll need to do it when they're not in use, that's the only thing holding me back. I'm going to relocate the two Maui's to my outside garden which I just cleaned out, tilled and soaked for transplanting tonight! I'll need to get shade on it next weekend but should be good for a week at current temps!
Also upped the gallons to 6 per reservoir and still could easily add 2 more and have at least 2-1/2" inches of air to the bottom of the net pots. Now all I need is for my new light to arrive!!
That looks like a reasonable set up, and the roots will be much happier in flower.
I bought this handy RO filter for $145.
Now that I think about it, I actually have one that came with my house under the sink that stop working and it's been so long I forgot! Life of a parent of 4! LOL I need to get that thing working again ASAP!!
Typically it's just replacing a clogged line maybe, and new filters! Could be easy fix for you
I know I need new filters, but it mysteriously stopped flowing completely but I have newfound reserve to get this fixed!
