find something like this where 3 could fit in your tent. 2 plants per tote. then just keep doing what your are doing. bubbles.

My coolers are only a little more than halfway full. I have 3-1/2" more until the water level would hit the bottom of the net pots, I could easily fit another 2.5 gallons in per reservoir, maybe more. I also think I could go to 12 air stones total considering the size giving each tub it's own 6 line pump. Do you think that might land me somewhere more agreeable on quantity with the addition of my new light to hold off switching set ups mid grow?

You always want to maintain 1-2" from the bottom of the net cups, to the water.
Remember, MINIMUM 3g per plant.

either one more of the same cooler or 3 of just a much bigger tote. i'd only do 2 plants per res.
So I've decided it's too much for me in my life right now to add a third tank. I'll need to do it when they're not in use, that's the only thing holding me back. I'm going to relocate the two Maui's to my outside garden which I just cleaned out, tilled and soaked for transplanting tonight! I'll need to get shade on it next weekend but should be good for a week at current temps!

Also upped the gallons to 6 per reservoir and still could easily add 2 more and have at least 2-1/2" inches of air to the bottom of the net pots. Now all I need is for my new light to arrive!!

So I did the best of both world's! I kept my littles but transplanted them outside into my garden and left my 4 bigs in the 4x4 tent. 6 gallons per reservoir and my new light should be here in this week!

That looks like a reasonable set up, and the roots will be much happier in flower.
I also have 4 plants in my 4x4 and in total, havr about 23g in my system.
The more water, the more stability for the EC and PH is one of the biggest benefits. Also they don't drink all their water as fast.
I have my 23g RDWC system hooked up to a 20g top off.
By the end of 1 week, the 4 girls are typically drinking 15-20g of that top off and I do a full 20g rez change on the system.

I certainly appreciate the advice! I may go ahead and try to put 8 gallons per reservoir and get another two 5 gallon containers because I currently purchase my RO from a vending machine and it's a pain in the butt but I definitely want better results!

I bought this handy RO filter for $145.
Easy set up, and I connected it to a PVC float valve to fill my top off automatically.

Now that I think about it, I actually have one that came with my house under the sink that stop working and it's been so long I forgot! Life of a parent of 4! LOL I need to get that thing working again ASAP!!

Thanks! I actually have a third one I want to use next grow for an RDWC to make water changes easier and for future ideas as well!

This is my second grow in the coolers, first grow was only a disappointment in that it produced 3.85oz between two large plants. My lights suckered before but I have my new ones installed now!

No problems with algae so far! I put light proof tape on the net pots and they cover the hole completely. For extra protection I throw the Styrofoam peices over that too! So far so good!

A week after the new light has been installed. Got a nifty app to measure my PAR on my canopy and one half of my tent runs about 100 umols per second difference. The front plants are getting 650 or so and the back about 730 which is a little high. I'm thinking of rehanging my light slanted to account for this so I get even light distribution or is it not worthwhile?

Also, originally hung the LED's a little too close and did have some leaves slowly die over a week because of it. Did a ton of research and knew what to expect so I wasn't even worried! Looks similar to calcium deficiency but is definitely light burn with slow necrosis! Still powered through and they are looking great! Roots too!! Might be a little early with the SCROG net but I'm just too amped!! I'm already planning out my next grow and wish I could do more than I already am!! Lol20210414_155949.jpg
