Serious Question, Does anyone play music to their plants or talk to them?

I sweet talk my ladies. Tell them how sexy and beautiful they are. I also stroke the fan leaves gently. We have a pretty romantic relationship

I just remembered that Myth Busters did a test on this, obviously not MJ, but they had different types of music playing. They came out with a Busted claim on music. They noticed no difference between type of music and no music. I would like to see that Georgetown study, as I have been told, show the proof, and then I will believe. Not being rude, just so you know.
looks like somone can grasp obvious sarcasm

I also saw that on mythbusters. My take is that plants need and thrive on what they evolved with in nature. That didn't include music.

thanks for not being rude, but i dont know if your serious or not.
I was serious about showing the scientific research. But I just did not want to come off sounding rude. No sarcasam. I am the type of person that usually worries about not hurting other peoples feeling, and yes I am glad that I am like that....

In the last couple weeks I think trauma helps produce more thc. So I sneak up on them and jump out screaming. Then I yell shit to scare them like - I'm from the DEA and I'm gonna chop your asses down and burn you!
fuuuuuuuuu

new trade secret.

Cut the lights out for 48 hours before harvest.
Run inside the dark grow room screaming that DEA has arrived to start chopping bitches down.
Plants literally shit hi brix.

I usto play nature sounds to my Hawaiian Baby Woodrose plant. rainforest, oceans, birds. It made a euphoric atmosphere so if the plant didn't enjoy it I sure did =P

I'm surprised there isn't more info on here, but some of the comments were so amusing I almost prefer that. Anyhow, here's a link that talks about several studies proving that sound works to improve yield and also deter pests. http://www.smilinggardener.com/plants/music-and-plants Google those names if you want to read more, but basically Indian music is good. For a scientific reason, imagine bird songs-- sound is a wave like light has a wavelength, and the right Hz helps internal mechanisms add some energy to the processes it uses to grow. Higher Hz = higher pitched sounds, like bird songs, and bass notes are low Hz, so they have less energy to give in the same given length of space (like a leaf).
