So, 4 big plants, or 8 small ones?

I'm growing in a smallish closet... it's only 1.8' x 5' x 6'. Originally, I wanted to have 4 big females all in 5 gallons, vegged for about a month, but lights broke down and I have to put them outdoors (where light is only 11/13!) since 2 days ago... now I have a new set up (400w MH & HPS) I am way to worried to put them back under 18/6 again (incase of hermies).

Two questions...

1.) If I move the plants I put outside in 11/13 back into 18/6 will they probably hermie? They are only 5-9 days from sprouting!

2.) Which would be the better yield: ~8 females put into 12/12 with only one week veg, 1 gallon pots -OR- 3 to 4 females vegged for 4-5 weeks in 5 gallon pots.

I'm going to take good care of my plants. Trying to get some tiger bloom for flowering, and some mylar for the walls. They're in fox farms ocean forest looking very happy.

Well, I already woke up the 3 little ones outside... hopefully the 2 days they had way different light schedules won't stress them too much.. does anyone think they will hermie later now? Since I have, 16 sprouts I'll probably have to give some away when it gets too crowded... but this way I will deffiantly have at least 4 females that aren't hermaphrodites, and maybe more?

i would try the 8 plants put them into flowering at 7inches they will most likely finish at 21inches you should be able to get 25grams or more on each plant being an average grower with 1-3 grows under your belt with an average yielding strain.

Really? Nice! This is my first grow but I like to consider myself experience.. a lot of friends into this hobby, and my dad used to big time when he was younger. Sounds good, I have 14 starting to veg the biggest one just finally is resembling weed (3 bladed leaf). I really hope most of them are indica... all indicia leaves are short and fat right? I have seen sativa just a little bit skinny and long, but some with many long super skinny blades on the leaves, so I'm not sure if I will be able to identify both.
