Soil and perlite help

So quick question, I'm going to be buying some fox farms ocean forest, and was gomna pick up some perlite https://www.texashydroponics.com/shop/product.php?productid=1862&cat=138&page=1

That perlite exactly and was wondering if I it's a good kind of perlite to complement the fox farm?

And by adding about 25% perlite it should alway balance out the water/soil ph, correct? Aswell as provide drainage?

Need to know to night plan on picking up tomorrow morn.

yes, that would work just fine, The perlite is just to improve air flow and drainage.. the pH should be balanced but, its best to check the pH with a meter to be sure if you do have a pH prob, garden lime (dolomite lime) will fix tht.

Ocean Forest has some perlite in it. You can add more, but you don't have to. Its usable stuff right out of the bag.

i had my best fox farm grows by blending 1 bag of light warrior(1cf) to 1 bag of ocean forest (1.5 cf)
this makes about 14 gallons of material that won't burn anything and feeds veg for 3-5 weeks and flower for about 2 or 3
