Transplanting

I transplanted my 1st plant yesterday.
It has been about 12hrs and the leaves are still drooping.
I did not drench the soil.
I waited until the 1st pots soil was dry and once i changed pots I watered a little more than I did in the 1st pot since it is bigger.

When should the plant shock stop?
I only did one since it was my 1st time. I still have about 12 others to move.

when i transplant, i duno if its a good idea or not, but i drench the plant and let the excess water finish dripping out. then i tip it upsidedown, and since the soil is soaked the plants soil stays more compact, i then throw it into the other pot and drench that one. i found that i didnt really get any plant shock at all.

I guess I should have stated that these plants are only about 4-6 inhes tall.
They are still kind of flimsy.
I was worried that too much water would make them droop.
I went ahead and did 2 more while the 1st pots soil was wet.
The problem there was I had more than 2 plants in that pot.
I took a spoon an made a circle about 2in around each plant and went all the way to the bottom and scooped out. Needless to say the soil did not stay clumped. Most of the roots seemed to be intact.
I had to move the level of soil up in ref to the height of the plant on these 2 plants. I think maybe 1/4" of soil height increase.
The last 2 were leaning over.
I had just recently started running a fan yest and these 2 fell over.
I wish i already had my cam.
The leaf span is roughly as wide as the plants are tall

any suggestions on better technigues would be appreciated.
also should I go ahead and do the others I have or wait and let them veg longer for a stroger root system.
Note the 1st plant had roots all the way to the bottom already.
I may have snapped a feww on the 2nd set.

I went out and bought 2 more 40 w cfl's. I used a y connector.
I now have 3 plants transplanted directly under cfl''s (1/2").
I also found some mylar like material. It is a little duller but it has contact paper on back. I made a shield with the reflectinve contact to go over each light. All sides of plants are covered with either white painted walls or this reflective contact paper.
I also have a 18w 21" grow light going in back ground, just for the heck of it.
I have a fan going on low.
My pots that I am transplating into are about 8" wide and 8" tall.

I am thinking of watering every other day until I can determine how the water is doing them.
I wonder should I let them get all the way dry and then soak them.
I have been pouring water about 100cc around roots when I water and then misting the leaves and soil top in between.
any suggerstion?

Welcome to the forum. Sooner or later you will want to get a moisture meter. Around $15.00 at Menards, Lowes etc. I would recommend sooner. For seedling to develop good root systems, it is helpful if you let the soil get a bit dry. This makes the roots go looking for water. They grow to find it. If you water them when they don't really need it they don't have to grow to find it, and they can die from root rot. If you continue what your doing, it will take a lot longer to get a good root system.

Well I googled a lcl hydroponics shop.
Bought ph/moisture meter for 9.59

After getting satisfied with my moisture levels and more or less airiating the potting soil with the meter.
I noticed my ph was acidic on one plant more than the others.
I found in the growfaq that hardwood ash will raise ph to make more alkaline.
I mixed up some with water and also spread some around the plants.
I also tried to gently press some n the meter holes afore mentioned.

I was able to get my ph to 6 1/2 - 7 on all plants. They were some 4 1/2.
Then I got to reading about root rot and H202.

Can I just water with h20 + h202? what would be an appropriate ratio?
I have 1 plant (my best oldest) and the leaves are curling like ram horns.

I have 7 babies. I have been methodically trying something slightly different on each one. So as I have a spectrum of plants from to wet to not wet enough. I am just starting out. I Figured the more I learn know the better I grow tommorow.
