Alright gals n gents, here goes it. I wont take all the credit for this, I was taught by my homie "Waxon Jaxon," he's the mastermind behind all this, he makes killer wax. The consistency we're going for here is like a peanut butter type that should be yellow in color and maleable in your hands without getting stuck to them. Personally it's my favorite kind but he likes shatter, maybe the next tutorial we'll do that. The whole process besides letting it sit over night take about 3 hours. These pictures describe one tube we ran, each tube will fit around 4-5 ounces depending on the bud density and how dry it is, this tube is almost 2 feet long.
Materials include:
Glass tube
Scissors
square pyrex dish
vacuum chamber
butane
small round pyrex dish
parchment paper
spatula
flat head screw driver
coffee filter
clamp
gas mask (optional)
tool for packing wax into tube (any pole)
large glass dish for warm water (large enough for pyrex to fit into)
!. After you have your product, grind it up and stuff it into your glass tube as tight as possible.
2. Put the coffe filter over the open end and clamp it down, tighten with flat head screw driver.
-cut excess filter off
3. Put the correct tip on butane can that fits into your glass tube.
Hold the filled glass tube over the square pyrex dish and start shooting the butane through it upside down. This is where the gas mask comes in handy...
Have the other butane cans prepared with the correct tip so you can swap cans easily
The bud will look wet and eventually start dripping a yellow solution.
Catch this into the glass and keep using butane until the liquid comes out clear. It might help to wear an oven mitt while doing this because it can get cold.
4. Let the solution warm up a bit about 5 minutes before putting the pyrex into warm water
Heres what it'll look like in its different bubbling stages..
Once it's done boiling out the butane and ready to be vacuumed.
Note: Here we could've warmed it a bit more and got a little more butane out before vacuuming it but we were kinda in a bad location/hurry and the vac chamber will fix this.
5. Scrape the pyrex into your small round pyrex dish using your spatula, a torch helps get most of the wax off the spatula.
6. Place the wax in your vac chamber and start purging. The wax will bubble up into a big puff ball then collapse back down. If the bubble is getting too big and about to hit the sides of your chamber stop the vac or you will get wax stuck to your vacuum chamber lol!
In the chamber it goes
the puff...
the collapse...
Purge a couple times til your wax thickens up then scrape it off the sides, now you can start mixing it up.
Purge a few more times...
Give it a lil stir and then hit it with the torch just until you see the color change like so and let it sit overnight.
Note: By hit it with the torch I mean just put the flame to the wax for a few seconds til you see it change... you'll know when it changes, its obvious. Also, you can do this in between purges it just seems to help the final product.
Okay so now we're almost done I'll finish the rest up later and show you guys how to enjoy!
Peace!
