What LED system that will compare to using two 1000 watt hps

currently use 2 1000w hps in a 4x8 space. I do use co2 last 5wks of 8-9wk kush. The electric company doesnt make it easy on the pocket so id really like to switch to LED...Ive put it off for 15yrs now... figured id get brave enough to transition... i take 8 to10 in preferably with 4 to 5 node clones...root them 15days in my cloner then use 2 gal bags 3 deep by 7 length in 4x8 space. Id like to keep the same setup. my fear is not getting the same yield and density. Any suggestions on what to use and how much is this crap gonna cost me. I also worry about feeding quantities...will i have to change the food aggression and co2 ppm also....

Pretty much any modern 650w+ led will outdo a 1000w hps. You can find nice ones for $600-$1000 bar lights give nice even coverage. You could put 2 Marshydro fce8000s in there for $1300.

MARS HYDRO FC-E 8000 BRIDGELUX 800W CO2 VERTICAL FARM LED GROW LIGHT...says keep at 10inches above...but how deep does light penetrate before waning in strength...so if i have a 2ft plant not counting bucket...will that light be sufficient covering a 4x4 space at 34 inch depth

CO2 should be used at the beginning of flower and not at the end.

Possible scenarios for you. You could upgrade one light for now. This way a side by side will show you the power of LED vs HPS. There are a lot of benefits for making the switch. In a 4x4 area you can do a lot with a 480W LED bar style light @ 500 price range each. If you're pushing c02 you may want to aim for a 6-700w led bar light. You get what you pay for. You'll notice a big difference in LEDs not just the bud structure but also the terps since LEDs preserve the surface temperatures better in flower. I wish you luck and hope you make the switch. You wont regret it.

I have an fce 4800 in a 4x4, it does fine granted I haven’t filed out the whole canopy with it yet (lots of males lately and I’m impatient so I’ve kept vegs short so far) but my lower buds haven’t suffered but if you run 2 800w lights in an 8x4 I doubt you’ll have any issues with light penetration.

maybe ill try the the first 3wks at the higher ppm ratio harley...never liked the stretch it causes tho...but i am using a 100% indica now...

is LED actually feasable in your growroom regarding the average temps? you will be subtracting -700 watts out of a closed chamber but Co2 grows should actually see higher than usual leaf surface temps.
Plus the HPS IR will be missing as well.

With efficient LEDs, you'll need lights that consume around 50w/sq ft, so 1600W.
The beauty of good LEDs (apart from the energy saving, of course) is that you'll typically deliver that power to each sq ft, rather than 1,000W burning the shit out of the centre of each 4x4 area and bugger-all round the edge.
