yeah it hydrates it and do it right before you turn on your lights or right when the lights come on it creates the dew effect from mountain nights to morning (don't do it every morning do it 2 mornings then skip a day) and watering also helps keep your plants clean from dusk and dirt, and whatever else gets in... hope it helped
