Wiggy & His First Room 8x5 x7

Hello All my first grow which of course means my first room & very own designs.

Scale:

8ft long
5ft wide
7ft high.

How many plants would you say would be good amount in here? I was think 8 to 10? possibly 6 or 7 to allow for good growth. I'l get some pics up a little later of my room. Look forward to replys.

I have almost the same exact space to work with, and I think a better question is what sorta lighting and ventilation are you working with? And what style growing are you thinking about? Hydro? Soil/soil-less? How many watts? Vegging and flowerin g in the same room?

I'd say about 6 depending of variety and space they use - some like to throw out huge long branches - particulalry in a bit pot

Id go along with what this bloke said. Im running 25 odd plants in roughly the same size as you, so depends on alot of things.

Im in veg out of the room at the moment but will be puttin them in a reasonable size then flowering once I'm happy so veg & flower in same room I'd say also soil. Im not fully sure what wattage my light is a have a small 250watt and a large one which I belive too be a 1000watt

Thought about partitioning the room so small area for veg with the 250 and flower in the other with the 1000. I rekon your not too far off with 6/7 plants under your 1000.

I was actually think that, Possibly a shelf or a box on the back of the door too bring them on a bit. I'l get some pics up and see what ya'll think is best. P/S My grow is in a brick shed I have alarmed and insulated :)

Atleast its a brick shed man, i know some use wood sheds for grows but i wouldnt fancy that, my grows in the garage its outta the way from the mrs and the kids and i have the key. Yeah chuck up some pics mate so we can see what your working with.

I have a larger light for the room this is just a 250w that I have in there for now.

Yeah man a good scrub out and some sort of particle filter on your intakes i use the wifes stockings. Those little bastard mites and shit always find there way in somehow although this year i aint had any probs...........touch wood.:lol:

It looks small for the fan to me.Is that fan matched up to the filter cfm wise?Or do you have a speed control on your fans?

If your fan is pulling toooooo much air tooooooo fast through your filter........it don't filter the air and all oder control is out da window.
