Never done a journal on here, so I figured I’d do one for this grow. Keeping it easy with ten plants this go in three gallon fabric pots. I’ll be using coco with #4 perlite mixed in. Two ten-bar 1000W lights with Samsung 301b, Osram 660, and Meanwell HLG drivers. I’ll only get them up to 650ish watts during flower. Feed is tap water, PowerSI, Jack’s 5-12-26, Jack’s 15-0-0 cal nit, Epsom, and Tribus. Five plants per light. Seeds were soaked 48 hours in spring water, before transferring to plugs soaked in half strength feed. All seeds except the TK x OFP were visibly cracked and starting. I’ll throw a pic up when they get above ground.

The seeds for this run are:
-Thunder Island from Wyeast (Sour Mint Chocolate Kush x The Menthol) x2
-Crema Cubes from Wyeast ((ZR3 x Runtz) x Horchata) x2
-Pink Certz from Compound (The Menthol x Grape Gasoline) x2
-Stay Puft from Compound (Marshmallow OG x Grape Gasolin) x2
-Triangle Kush S1 5150 x Triangle Kush from CSI
-Triangle Kush x T1000/OFP from CSI (T1000/OFP is Triangle Kush x Purple Urkle)

All of them except the TK x T1000/OFP are above or just about. That one was the only one not cracked after soaking, but the room was 90* for a bit the first day. So, I wouldn’t judge the seeds if this one doesn’t germ, because that’s a hot room for seeds. Tomorrow or Saturday I’ll mix the coco and perlite, put it in 3 gallon fabric pots, and put the seedlings in there. I’ll get a pic up tonight.

The Pink Certz beans and TK x OFP are taking their time coming up. Pretty sure both Pink Certz are on their way up, but the TK x OFP might never come up. I might try to baby the ones that aren’t up by the end of this weekend or I may just toss them and run eight plants. I’ll get a boring pic of seedlings up once I put them in their pots. Skipped adding the perlite, because I wasn’t in the mood to deal with it, but that made me short on coco. New bag will be here next week.

I’m going to drop three new beans in water, because this doesn’t seem good for the three that haven’t come up. The two Pink Certz definitely cracked and started coming up, but my shitty temps must’ve done them in. Thinking of dropping two TK x OFP and a Suge Pure Kush x OFP or another 5150 x TK. I’ve had great seed success the last few years, so I’ve been expecting a few duds.

Edit: Went with two TK x OFP and another 5150 x TK. Love a strong couch lock high.

Second edit: Was dumb to soak three extra beans. Guessing I’m going to end up with more than ten seedlings. Hate killing plants for no real reason, but I only want ten plants max this go.

Cut the three cubes open with seeds not up yet and they had all just cracked and stalled. My fault. Probably going to go get the seven up into three gallon pots of coco and then throw the three other beans I soaked yesterday into some cubes tonight. I’ll throw a pic up if i do.

Got the seven in their pots. Two each of Stay Puft, Crema Cubes, and Thunder Island. Also, a single TK 5150 x TK. Half strength Jack’s and a full dose of PowerSI and Tribus. I’ll give them a week or so before I hook up the drippers.B08FE162-079C-492B-B24D-07D51DE286E5.jpeg

Really want to do this grow simple and easy. Not going to mess around with humidifiers, heaters, portable a/c, and whatnot this go. Probably be a little warm in flower with high RH and low humidity getting things started, but I’m sick of dealing with it all. Not really interested in going too hard again until I buy a house and build myself a grow area and have plenty of room/storage. Going to just hand feed these with a tote on a dolly. I work from home and don’t go anywhere these days, so allowing the lights to be on during the day instead of my usual night cycle should allow me to be able to feed multiple times per day. Starting seeds super lazy got me. The temps in my prop deal were in the 90s, so not shocked three didn’t make it. Two of the other three I started are up and if the other comes up before the coco gets here I’ll use it. If not, I’ll run four on one side and five on the other.

All in their final pots now. The third seed that hadn’t come up was just going the wrong way and whatnot in the cube. Should be fine and up in a day or two. Need to get another pot elevator, but they tax online. I’ll find something. Probably update once a week from here on out unless something pops up I feel needs sharing. Ten weeks or so the pics should be something decent to look at. Veg and early flower pics are kind of boring.

So, to clarify what plants are in there for this run now:
-Thunder Island from Wyeast (Sour Mint Chocolate Kush x The Menthol) x2
-Crema Cubes from Wyeast ((ZR3 x Runtz) x Horchata) x2
-Stay Puft from Compound (Marshmallow OG x Grape Gasoline) x2
-Triangle Kush S1 5150 x Triangle Kush from CSI x2
-Triangle Kush x T1000/OFP from CSI (T1000/OFP is Triangle Kush x Purple Urkle) x2

Left side has the four Wyeast plants and a TK cross in the middle. Seed shell still on, but cracking, so I’ll wait a day or two before manually removing it. 0733F4D4-AF43-4C66-A236-729D29D4FBAE.jpeg
Right side has two Stay Puft, a TK 5150 x TK, and two TK crosses.093185D0-2761-4A8B-9AE3-4A53E93E918A.jpeg

Didn’t label the two TK x T1000/OFP and one 5150 x TK, so that’s why I say TK crosses for those. Feed is full Jack’s 3.79/2.56/.99 with PowerSI and Tribus. Use tap water. Lights are at 400 watts a piece currently. Temps aren’t too bad, but humidity is a bit low. Things might be slow the first two or so weeks with low humidity and not potting up, but I’m not in a huge rush. I go in once a day and water to runoff and then mist the top of the coco if it ever starts drying out. I’ll be back next weekend with another boring update.

Tossed this 5150 seedling and soaked a Suge Pure Kush x T1000 to take its place. Just didn’t see where I’d get nodes and flowers from on this thing.6D08F915-8E06-4FCE-A3D9-C61A28882709.jpeg79287C8A-F159-43AA-9E98-D2F9BC46046E.jpegAC461471-F77A-43FC-9BC0-5FFE90947D77.jpeg

Pulled another mutant. This time a Thunder Island from Wyeast. Crazy how beans just keep getting more expensive and less stable. Crazy world we live in. I’m done with the nonsense. Only interested in Bodhi, CSI, Stray, and smaller breeders putting in actual work from here on out. Stuck with a bunch of seeds I’m not that interested in dealing with, but oh well. I really wish I could just order clones, but I’m in FL.C4DE700B-B802-4CEF-A452-4C0819089019.jpeg5533C241-D8BD-45C7-BF02-64472C0DB638.jpegF5234F96-CE3A-4870-B53A-12BC3C24ECF2.jpeg
Edit: Soaked another Thunder Island.

Suge Pure Kush x T1000 cracked while floating and just got put straight into three gallons of coco. Thunder Island should be in the same boat tomorrow. Also, just want to make sure nobody thinks those initial two Compound beans or the CSI bean didn’t come up for any reason other than I was being lazy and really wanting to get through the beans I have. Compound and CSI are both great in my experience, but Compound’s prices have gone nuts so these were probably my last packs from them. I’m going to buy a tent before next run to keep mothers and clones in too. Sick of dealing with seeds. Ha.

Ohhh yeah, dropped PowerSI from the feed. Not sure it does much for me as a little hobbyist grower and it makes mixing things up a pain. I’ll just foliar what I have left. Figure every five days do a foliar of PowerSI or Dr Zyme’s interchanging them. Anyone know the dilution rate for PowerSI foliar? Is it 4ml per gallon for “maintenance“ and 8ml per gallon for “repair”? Does it need a wetting agent? Looked like it when I used it yesterday. Should it be ph’ed before spraying? Thanks for any help and info!

Looking for opinions on my foliar regime. Curious if switching between Dr Zyme’s and my own foliar every five days sounds good or if I need to add anything? I mix PowerSI, yucca, kelp, fulvic, and peppermint oil for my foliar. I spray throughout veg and until I see flowers start forming/setting.
