jbizness, do you have links to SUCCESSFUL grows similar to my see more buds approach as there are a gazillion grows on rolllitup? Dave has been very helpful and I am thankful for his input. Dave has a different system. Again if you have something to contribute then PLEASE contribute but your know-it-all I'm not criticizing but you're an idiot approach isn't really helpful. Any questions you can answer and be helpful with is appreciated. For instance, why are there deficiencies when using Advanced Nurtrients Sensi Grow A + B? Yes, early on I used too much nutes and had some pH swings and maybe a heat issue but the recent growth was green so I decided to take clones. The plants are growing fast and I want to see if I could root some clones to flower with the original plants. If this is not feasible then tell me why. Yes, I know i am a noob and I know I need the helpful input from more experienced growers. This is all a learning experience so even if I fail, I will learn from subsequent grows. That's what is called learning from doing. So again if you have helpful input I would like to hear it. If you can't keep yourself from admonishing newbies then why are you on this thread?
1.) the deficiencies are not from the Medicine, but the Dosage. Starting with such high EC/TDS
literally locks everything (including H20) out, which give you your colors
2.) I dont remember you ever mentioning high temps that would cause that much leaf curl? I have to hit 85 before curl. Again, I think your plant was dehydrated and started pulling moisture from the leaves instead of the nutes... because of the Salt Buildup on the surface of the roots.
3.) No AN nute experience here, BUT, these are
NOT environment specific issues, this is feeding.
4.) AIR, you do not have to get rid of your misters, the lower micron size allows for better availability-- BUT this does not necessarily mean your Dissolved Oxygen levels are up to speed . They are not hard to keep, (tops out at 10?) but you will need airstones for ANY amount of standing water that your roots are going to be in. The constant agitation helps keep sediment from settling/buildups of
all kinds/AERATES/ and promotes new growth.
5.) What are your current ppm's because you have green veins/yellow leaves and the margins are still burning (yellow around the "rim") I am mainly looking at the FRONT RIGHT, BACK MIDDLE, and BACK LEFT
Ha. I could be completely ignorant and wrong, but read into what I am talking about, and grow upon that and 'broaden your Spectrum,' bub. Good luck
