I've heard the Ghost Cut is the best OG by many connoisseurs. Anyone try it? I know Riserva Privada's OG#18 is now easily in my top 3.

Back to lights...anyone think the new Area 51 190s have a perfect true full spectrum?

Nice to see you have everything up and running again ... not sure I love the lights though!! HAHA just kidding! are you thinking of going back to LEDs or you are sold on induction lighting?
LOL dick move but i was thinking it only cuz i loved the led/rols

have u considered the quantum kush? instead of the timewreck? and that conspiracy kush sure does look promising just noticed on tga site that they added a new indica dom strain 9lb hammer...hmmm

I havent really considered anything up until I saw hyroot's latest video. I can't afford shopping for seeds right now anyway as I have recently ordered and I am about to make a bunch of crosses with my male pennywise!! which is sold out!!! I am going to make some PennyWise seeds as well I have 2 nice females in the budding room.

I have not smoked a lot of kush and OGs because ever since I started growing I have always grown different strains because everybody else around me kept saying they were sick of Kush and OGs because that's the only thing you could find around here! However, before I got into growing I had smoked a lot of Northern light or just plain pot back East, but ever since I moved to BC I have always had great connection and smoked SLH, Purple Kush and some other great strain but still never smoked that much OGs and Kushes, now that I have been growing for a while though and starting to know what I am doing, I tempted to give Kush and OGs another go. The thing is I am a real pot snob now and I won't smoke it until I have grown it!

I d like to know the answer too! I know for myself I have to keep my good old AF600s for a few years before I start looking at other lights ... unless my used to be 500watts Fero light keeps dying!! Realistically, within a year I ll have one or 2 of the newest A51 lights in the garden.

Correct.......R/DR have less "push" than B, but these pontoons are just an "enhancement" to the 4000k? induction-bulb. It already has enough 620-640nm but tends to drop off rapidly around 650-660nm I think................we need chaz:hump::hump:
Yes you're correct in that the Pontoon is an enhancement to the 420 phosphors which see a peak at 640 before dropping off. The pontoon delivers 660nm wavelengths at lights on to pick up a chlorophyll b absorption point and the 730's at lights out to decrease the amount of time it take the plants to convert into their flowering Pfr state. As to a visual Kelvin temperature, which of course means little to plant net action absorption, it falls in the 4100K region.

You're also correct in that EM wavelengths blue light spectrums have shorter wavelengths than red spectrums.

Gurlz are looking great Hy! Thanks for the update! I can't wait to watch them bulk up from here. On the next run if I had to make a choice I'd go with the bodhi. Haven't seen it local for awhile but the blood orange had some of the brightest trich's I've ever seen and the smoke was euphoric. You felt like you were floating.

BTW when I listened to the end of your video, whats that sound the plants are making at lights out?

^^^I agree...bodhi has some killer gear. I love sub...but only a handful of his strains are on my list, and it's mostly the newest real eased. Consipracy or marion.

Bodhi uses some legendary stains that always catch my eyes.

All this OG talk is making me feel like I am missing out or something!

Have you ever grown Oh God or any other strain from Jordan that has some OG lineage? I have grown and enjoyed Oh God but I dont think it's in his line up anymore ... I think it was OG Kush x God bud. Anyway ... I am tempted to order his version of OG Kush,...

Otherwise, what are your favourite OG strain? What's so special about them? I have never grown the real deal and I know I have smoked some here and there, but the only OG kush I have seen was grown on a big scale and wasnt anything great. Seeing that you grow mostly OGs makes me think there has to be something really special about them since you have grown many TGAs as well and dont see many in your line up right now.

Nice to see you have everything up and running again ... not sure I love the lights though!! HAHA just kidding! are you thinking of going back to LEDs or you are sold on induction lighting? It looks like there is quite a bit of shade on the edges?
I never really was a big fan of og. I just happened to get those strains with out buying any. If I were to buy an og, kogi og or Jedi kush og. I never did anything from Jordan of the island.

I'm digging the Induction so far. Next round will be a better judgement of what these lights can do.
I have an a51 on the way. I'm going to start what ever new strains under it. I'm leaning towards. Bodhi. Probably blood Orange and either head trip or jaba stash or one bodhi strain and one tga strain....

Jillybean is the one for big dank yields.

Timewreck is a big yielder. I've only seen sub's flower...I don't like his smell, super baby poo like his favorite vortex...but I'm sure there is a sweet TW phono in there.
Conspiracy should be dank. I have vegged 4 out but never flowered it, I still have one bean left. I wouldn't expect big yields though.

I have never grown any bodhi, but genetically speaking they shouldn't be the biggest yielders, but some serious dank in there for sure.

alot. In the long run with energy savings and without bulb or ballast replacement. Its cheaper to run induction than 1000w hps. They will pay for themselves in energy savings alone over the next 2 or 3 years. My electricity is cheap though. Where I used to live last year. The energy savings would pay for the lights in 1 year. I now pay $0.08 per kwh. I used to pay $0.33 per kwh. Thats what most of what cali pays ($0.33 kwh)

The VPAR was designed for 6ft and up plants when the VPAR's would be hung vertically and daisy chained end to end for plants that get over 10ft tall. A setup like Hyroots gonna initially set you back $4-5K with a typical ROI being 1-2 crops, depending upon regional crop values. After that you've got lamps and drivers that run 10 years under warranty.

Hyroot is trialing the VPAR in an open forum. For sure he gets a deal so we can all see what the benefits are in a relatively small garden. Inda-Gro has complete discretion over who gets to trial products but a gardener of Hyroot's skill and experience would, IMO, be well deserving of any assistance they could offer him. Ultimately the plants are gonna speak for themselves and they don't care how much you spent on gear anyway.

3 in flower and 1 in veg

Well I guess seedsman has fraud issues like attitude so banks and credit cards won't process transactions. I guess I will go with my original plan and get some tga gear at the L.A. Cup. so probably jillybean and conspiracy or quantum kush sounds good except for the major stretching. That one would probably be good for scrog.

if you saw the new weed nerd. Everyone's out of pennywise and sub has to jump in and breed some pennywise to get everywhere stocked up. on the tga site it says marionberry is temporarily out too.

That`s why I bought pennywise early on I saw that one coming! Not many strain score so high on CBD level if any. I could only afford a few seeds but it`s looking like I ll make many seeds with them!!
