Is it possible to grow like a normal potted plant with no special care?

I was thinking about ordering from a seed bank such as nirvana. i saw the autoflower section and was thinking of getting a strain that is harvested in about 6-8 weeks.

If its possible to grow just one or two plants potted indoors near a window?

Or is there a product that helps grow just one or two plants. something small that doesnt take up too much space?

Any help would be great appreciated!

Yes just keep a steady light schedule, also no light when it should be dark ( no light leaks)
other then that marijuana is a weed man.

A large pot with Miracle Grow potting soil may be your best bet in this case though I would start the seeds in some Starter soil.

I don't have any experience with growing autos but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night...

Look at Dinafem Critiacal + 2 Auto.

If you love great smoke and big highs auto ain't the one you should go for
You can tell an auto from smoking it? If I put out four J's with three being photos and one being an auto but all containing 20% THC you could spot the auto? I find that hard to believe. I smoked some Amnesia Haze from The Netherlands last night that wasn't as a good as my buddies White Widow Auto from the night before. I could tell a difference in the weed for sure but had I not known the auto was an auto, it would have never dawned on me.

I don't know why everyone hates on autos. Maybe in the past, autos were shit, but the autos that I've grown have produced some good smoke. Everyone who has smoked from my grows has loved it, that's from casual smokers to 2x daily smokers and they NEVER said, "hey, is this shit from an auto, it's just not as strong" in fact, they ask to buy some.

Im confused on why people hate on them too. I'm a personal stash guy so I don't sell but that doesn't stop my friends from asking. My friends all have good jobs so they don't stay high all day every day but they don't buy shitty weed either. Not one has ever said "this is an auto, I'm outta here"! Its usually more like "hey man, can I get some of this to go"? Also, I got almost 3 zips trimmed, dried, and cured off my last plant so I'm more than happy with the yield.

With a auto the light scheudle should not make much of a difference (besides the more light the more flower thing)
it does i have grown autos a messed up light schedule will absolutely stress an auto out to the point of hermi.

-----Nutes and nugs not true at all
there are very potent strains out now for auto like ww,sharksbreath, aura inddica ect.

Genetics are not the same. as they used to be.

Its a good place to start but don't expect big yields or dense nuggets. but to get familiar with the plant its definatly doable. One time I had a cfl setup in my room and would take the plants out to put in the sun coming through the window. I don't think I could have done it with just sunlight. unless you are moving them to different windows and you have all day sun. cfls on a timer also help keep a steady light schedual. you want more than mother nature usually provides, in veg 18/6 and for flower I would just move them into a closet for 12 hours a day also keeping consistent with the time. keep it cheap and simple and keep a notebook or calendar to keep track of feeding, water, anything else....GL

Espoma products mixed in with a good organic soil as recommended should have enough nutrients for ur auto to set and forget. Tear it up my friend it will be a good learning exp.

Go for it! I've been eying autos myself, as an adjunct to my photos. Photo/auto, doesn't matter, growing is the main thing. After your first harvest you'll be hooked. Cannabis may or may not be addictive, but growing it sure is. G/l!

I used a 400W on them, MH till it showed bud spots (Not just preflowers) then switched to HPS.

Had 3 1/2 Oz per plant had 3 in a small tent.
I didn't feed her well so maybe they will yield more if taken care of.
I was a believer in less N in flower back then, now I'm a believer in green leaves till harvest, or at least 1 week till harvest.

Best thing for autos I found are smart pots and usually 5 gallon.
I've tried 1-2 gallons at first with autos and it def keeps them small.

3-5 makes them big and creates lots of off colas.

Wow that's impressive! Why do u believe in green leaves till harvest? I like the fall color look to plants myself just assumed it was from lack of nutes tho. Were they soil grown? Thanks for the info bro!

Is that avatar pic a ww auto Medicated?
Nah that's my current Critical Kush grow.

There is a lot of research and it's a very debated topic, but I always tell people what may work for you, may not work for others.

Growing is 90% facts 10% opinions.
Some people may like green leaves till harvest and find it better, some like to deprive their plant of N and find it better.
Some like to remove all fan leaves and find it better, some like to never touch the fan leaves and let them fall off on their own.

I say, do some research, do some side by sides if you've got the time.
Find what best suits you and what you feel shows better results.

Some topics you might find a good read by google (In terms of heated debates)

Keeping green leaves till the end.
Defoliation.
To flush or not to flush.
Advanced Nutrients (One of my favorites)
