Swag what's with my drying room dropping to 12 and 14c and no water in dehumidifier tank... I don't understand is my outtake to much the heater is in full 24/7 extraction the same dehumidifier the same set on 40%..... should I put my extraction on timer to let the heat build up then try turning it on clear sum air them back off for a bit

Hmmmm. Not sure I understand what you're saying, but I will try.... The lower the temps in winter where I'm at, the less the dehum will run. I haven't emptied mine in a week and I empty it daily or 2x daily in the summer.

I suggest to control the temp first, then let the dehum do its work if its needed. If you can't get temps higher with the heater running on full, then yes I would say you're extracting too much and/or too often.

6 in one hand half a dozen in the other because it seems logical that if you reduce air extraction the extra heat may drop the humidity even lower. That said I would rather dry my buds at higher temps than 12-14C with lower humidity than the alternative which is what you're getting now.

Not sure that helps you, sounds like you have a grasp on your options.

I have a controller I have not used that I got for next grow it's the rhino rc 1, u think.i should go pit that in and set at 20c... also I can put the radiator back on in room and that setting is set at 20c for the aswell so might get away with turning my heater down or even off

I did the conversion to F and I wouldn't worry too much. 20 C would probably be better but 14-ish is not going to hurt anything. If you feel like tweaking it just try to bring the temps up a bit however seems plausible. Those mainliners looked great Bud!

cheers m8, well i no if i just put pipes back on in the room that will raise the temps in there as they been off since before the summer with window open venting the out take. but i suppose that temp controller will only pull out the air when needed and the dehumidifier can do its work then

That seems to have sorted it like heating on in the room and already shot up to 18c I have the temp controller back in and put down to 20c and it is running on idle, just gona hang round see if it raises above 20 then I can start dropping my tube heat

I will agree its a bitch to keep the canopy the same height when running different strains, or different age plants, or even a single hydro with the rest soil. Its a challenge sometimes lol.

Yeah its a bitch but your hard work in rigging all that to stay even will serious pay off at the end with great light distribution. Def crazy doing hydro and soil together since hydro just explodes like madness! lol Are you using the same tea brews in both soil and hydro?

Peace

Those gardens are looking lush!

You really kept on that canopy this round FM, that looks awesome!

Tokalot, you're in for a nice haul lol. Using buckets like you show in the picture is definitely the easiest and best way to control the canopy with different strains and veg times. Veg is one thing but when the stretch comes we all know how they can differ. You have to have the headroom though! And a lot of different sized objects to put underneath the pots lol.

Those are some beasty mainlined treez son, how long you veg and under what?

Good to see this thread firing up again.

Question for your guys. Is there a way to blow images up like your posts without using an external source to host the image?
