Like I said I think apache makes a great light. You are right GG if you wanna cover 4x4 and not worry about shit except adjusting one light apache is the only company that offers a big enough panel to do it and do it well.
Was meerily trying to get jbone to concede that we do not know every potential outcome and that there are known unknowns that can happen i.e. tornado, power surge, hurricane. Then there is the unknown unknown, shit you did not know that you didn't know it could even happen. Would give an example but then it would be a known unknown ya know?lol
anxiously waiting for the finale, got something big planned GG?

I will concede, no problem, 4 panels may be better than 1 during the upcoming zombie apocalypse, it would be easier to barter your growlights for firearms and such if you had a bunch of smaller ones. That was all sarcasm, 4 200's or 1 600, I dont care, run what ya brung n have a coke n a smile

Hey GG, after not being on here for a while and seeing your recent pics all I can say is awesome job man! Both sides look great, hps look more full but they both do look almost the same in the bulk factor. So that at600 is doing its job i would say, because in all my grows 1000watt hps always did get the best yields besides the 860 cmhs...but led nugs get rock hard so who knows that led side could hold its own when the dry weight comes along.Time will tell! Once again keep up the good work

its easier to use a smaller panel as weapon too. Swing away.... Lol

Nice side by side grow GG. Both sides look really healthy. I'm a noob when it comes to LED's. Was wonder if I could ask a couple questions regarding your grow. I'm waiting on my a51 xgs-190 to come in the mail. Would like to make good choices on first run.

Do you know the difference in heat output between a 190W LED and a 190W Hid?

My plants are established and in 3 gallon pots. What do recommend for light distance from plants?

Your other journal was fire. A dispensary in S.D says they have that cut. Hope to run soon.

Thanks

Dayum lookin sweet dude, the AT600 is making a kick ass charge alright. Keep up the good work brudda!
Thanks. It's sure not letting off the gas.
they're looking the same size now. The led side chunks up more in the end. Hps side is more gradual right?
Ya, they actually are. Some size really happening on the led side now.
It's the opposite of what you think. Last update talked about it.
Hps blew it's load...while the led has been steadily and consistently gaining over time.
Yeah, from that educational vid GG did the HPS have a faster metabolism so they get there before the LED if I understood it right!
Perfecto!

ME too about thte waiting. I always have something big in the works. CO2, lots of led's, dialed strains...it will be big. Possibly a couple surprises you guys will just have to wait and see ;)

1000w is king of yields. and quality has never been an issue for me with them. But LED took my quality to a whole new level. The last runs BBK was not only the most potent I have grown and also the most dense. Straight up rocks. And this run is definitely bigger size, but same density so we will see in the end.

Thanks man. Go to a51 site and look at what they recommend. You plants will take full power and normal recommended height...around 24"-30" in veg and 20"-24" in flower.

Heat is less. The physics say it should be the same watt for watt, but that doesn't take place in reality(for you psu). Much cooler is all I can say.

Just my two cents on co2

Never will i run co2 from a tank and regulator, too much work for small increase. And too much money adds up by excanhging tanks every week.

I highly rec a propane burner with exhaust ports, more efficent with less having to exchange bottle every week. More like once a month. Plus exhaust ports make it much easier to handle in terms of heat. And of course ur going to need a co2 controller or a chh4
This one is expensive, i got one for about 300$
I guarnetee the co2 tanks will pass the 300$ in one grow.

https://www.google.com/search?q=plug n grow co2 gen&client=safari&hl=en&source=lnms&tbm=shop&sa=X&ei=8A1hU9abA8W22gWOuYCYBg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=320&bih=444#spd=4014437666740343032
1 x 20lbs tank lasts me three weeks. And my tent isn't even sealed that well.

When increasing co2 levels .you need to increase o2 levels as well.
imo adding co2 is best for sealed rooms. If you run in fresh air from outside via intake and exhaust. You will have plenty of co2. You want your o2 levels higher than co2. For proper respiration.. Outside air is less than 1% co2.
It's exactly 0.00003% at 300ppm, average everywhere just about.

It is not that hard to work it out for math, there is a sticky to a site where you enter the dimensions of your grow and it tells you the flow rate to set your regulator at. That is what I was doing when I had my tank going, trying without this last time to see if that extra 20 bucks a week is worth it.
That doesn't take into account how much is leaking out or being used by the plant and is merely a guess. A co2 monitor/controller is much more accurate, albeit a costly device.

My room is 8'x12' and will be sealed pretty solidly. Have to figure out the venting for exchange time. I'm thinking just a good back draft system on intake and outtake. Those 8" vents are the only ins and outs for my room. Some weather stripping around the door.

PS...just quote everyone at once and then answer all in one post. less space.

Well I got the IR gun so tonight I will have some fun in the room...
On my veg girls I have been keeping outside. They are super tough and hardened off. Just 1gals, then I will chop them into as many closes as possible tomorrow or the next day. Should be enough. But here is the leaf temp when the wind wasn't blowing(91*)...

Then with wind(good strong breeze)(74*)...
IMG_3354.jpg

And then while at the nrsary I found a new 420 mix. It's only 1.5cuft bags for the more than my current 2cuft ones...but I bought a bag to try it out. It smells hot as shit...super smelly like manures. We will see...

States the microbes in it so that was what makes me think it has some integrity. Plus the professor once told me about a guy whole stated a better than super soil company around here and I never got the name so I always look at new brands of this kind of mix to see.

I don't exchange at all, so that would explain it. I only think of one comment at at time. Short term memory loss.

The place I was looking at "there webstie" says 2499 each and to cover a 4 x 8 I would need 2 so 5000 dollars like I said .
And if you go to apache's site and put in the code RBK331 at check out they come down to $1999. I nor anyone has ever said they were cheap. But the $400 off each is actually a decent help.
It's not your cup of tea. Hope your happy with what you have.

Last night I started MOAB at about 25% strength. Literally a density and size boost over night. Not sure if it was the moab or just the time in their development, but I will increase the dosage to full by the next 3 feedings or end use of moab by day 54 which ever comes first. Then aggressively flush.

Here is pics from lights on day 44. The best and biggest I have seen both sides. Starting to swell, not just newer buds. I get a bigger smile each day.

I gotta say that looks almost as no difference was thinking bout buying a led so a 600watt led can compete with a 1000watt hps then what would a 900watt
Led do

I bet you walk around pointing that thing at everything you see for the next two days
