A few weeks ago I wasbongsmilie smoking a bong with a good friend of mine. The bud tasted good all the way till it was ash!!!! There was a sweet taste to the smoke. I asked around to find out what strain this amazing long lasting taste came from, but unfortunately no one knew what strain it was.
:wall:
Now I would like to gather information about the best tasting strains.

What strain do you think taste best?

My favorite is Sweet Mango and Blueberry, i forgot the company names but till now they are my favorites :) But also i love Northern Lights by Dutch Passion - classic but brilliant !

I have strange question back, at the moment im growing kinda new strain - The Rush by DutchSeedGrowers , maybe someone of u guys have heared something about that strain's flavour and smoke quality? I ordered 16 seeds from that company without knowing anything about how it tastes only because its very quick one lol!

I have a bunch of seeds from different companies. From my experience Dutch Passion seeds are good. I have some Feminized Twilight Dutch Passion seeds. '
Twilight is a purple strain with top yields and Afghan taste.
The buds are heavy and produce a good high.
This strain is 100% Indica.
I do not however know anything about this strain (The Rush)

Sorry.

I have some (GA3) Gibberellic acid, and I would like to cross breed some really good tasting buds with each other. Then cross a few buds that yield really well. Like White Rhino and Big Bud. After that I plan to cross the babys of those crosses. Take the final product of those two crosses, and cross it with a cross between the most potent THC and the most potent CBD strain I can get my hands on.

The blueberry/grape taste is the only fruit I like. The citrus's get old and too sweet and can taste like burnt sugar in a pipe. Urkle and it's cousins are really tasty. And if it's got DJ Shorts blueberry in it..got to be good though don't stress em. The good kushes are great too. Sinmint is a sleeper..( I live in the sticks and I don't know what real GSC are like) grown right the taste of this plant is amazing..coffee and hash and something sweet and flowerish but so mellow..and the buzz is so right. :eyesmoke:

Taste and flavor are far down my list, lets just get stoned first, who the fuck cares about taste ...its just to effeminate to care?
I would like to create a strain that has a Hard hitting, Good tasting, long lasting high, with a decent yield :). Taste may not be at the top of the list, but it is always something to consider when cross breeding.

I love Different tasting bud. I'm not just talking about sweet smoke. I like all kinds of smoke. The type of taste I mean Is the type that you get when you smoke a bud, and it stands out!

Hell yeah. I wouldn't bother to grow if it weren't about different type flavors and buzzes. I have a couple friends who act like they don't care about taste or really quality..it's all price (cheap) and just always having something to smoke. If they only knew lol I would have to shoot them

I know so many people that are in the same mind set as your friends....
I think creating a cross of very potent nuggs with a high yield, and a distinctly pleasant flavor is a good investment of my time.
I can change the taste by working with the terpenes that are found to be the best in taste. By working with the desirable terpenes, I can create an amazing flavor.
Cannabinoids to work with are Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), and Cannabidiol (CBD)
There are at least 85 different cannabinoids isolated from cannabis, that cause varied effects.
There are over 120 different terpenes in Cannabis
Some of the common Terpenes found in Cannabis are

-Myrcene –
clove like, earthy, green-vegetative, citrus, fruity with tropical mango and minty nuances. The most prevalent terpene found in most varieties of marijuana, it is present in high amounts in Mangos
-Borneol- menthol, camphor, pine, woody. Can be easily converted into menthol. It's considered a "sedative" in Chinese medicine.
-Caryophyllene - spicy, sweet, woody, clove, camphor, peppery. Found in black pepper(15-25%), clove(10-20%) and cotton(15-25%).
drug dogs are trained to find the molecule Caryophyllene!
-Cineole/Eucalyptol- spicy, camphor, refreshing, minty. Found in rosemary, eucalyptus
-Delta3Carene- sweet, pine, cedar, woodsy, pungent.
-Limonene- citrus (orange, tangerine, lemon, and grapefruit),
-Linolool- floral (spring flowers), lily, citrus and candied spice. Also in lavender
-Pinene- pine needles, rosemary
-Pulegone- mint, camphor, rosemary, candy
-Sabinene - Found in oak trees, tea tree oil
-Terpineol- floral, lilac, citrus, apple/orange blossoms, lime.

Great would love to hear about this strain.
Check Herbies seed bank, there should be a bunch of good autoflowers on there.

I ran some Sin's OG over the last year that out of 8 plants I got 2 with outrageous flavor. A friend of mine refered to it as a party in his mouth. I love the flavor it self, but I really like that it lasts till the end of the bowl. I've got other strains that taste good, but after a few hits, it just tastes alike a burned bowl. Not with the Sin's OG, or with the Dina Fem blue thai both are fantastic.

I like vanilla kush and Cindy 99 right now, but that's fully organic and tastes amazing. If done in hydro they would be harsh as hell from all the chemicals. Don't know how Darth vostock can care so little about quality. I medicate too often to be smoking Shitty bud that's all harsh. Point is all depends on how you grow to affect taste. And some strains medical as they may be just lack flavor from the start. Hope this helps
