When was the last time a Christian tried to exercise their religion in your personal space???
Last week up at the softball fields, a team was short a player. They asked if I would play, and I did. It was a bunch of good guys and I had a lot of fun. They were impressed by my game and asked if I could play the next week. I told them I could and I showed up and played again with them last night. Another fun night of softball. Anyway, after the game I was sitting on the ground changing my shoes and enjoying a beer. The manager called out for everyone to "bring it in for a prayer". I stayed sitting, enjoying my cold one. The looks that I got from them told me that I won't be playing ball for them again...

Why do you think the elderly far right are forming tea parties? They feel their patriarchal grip on the country growing weak as their churches disintegrate, no longer able to keep women down. They view minorities as a threat, and this manifests as their hate for the president.

So churches are responsible for "keeping women down"? WOW.......

it's no secret that the right believes in the teachings of the bible and wish to incorporate this into government.

last time? hmmm guess that would be rick scott's decision to not expand medicaid.

apparently, about that high.

only a leftist could fuss whine cry and accuse over a Democratic Process operating as intended and the people represented, moving a step closer to choosing their representative.

ZOMG!! Democracy!!
Dubble ZOMG!! Republic!

the republican party should just, like the democrat party, select it's candidates in smoke filled rooms full of shadowy figures.

how sad is it that republican party members VOTE for their candidates (using democracy) while democrats eschew democracy in favour of shady back room deal making and secretive meetings between power brokers?
where the hell do you get that from? you watch too much tv.

Ohh you like to argue huh? The guy was tagging me in the posts, and implying I was a homosexual because I was defending gay rights. When he tags me it's associated with MY shit - so you can decide for yourself.

I implied the opposite because TBH I'm not as familiar with our democratic system as you are. When you put it the way you did, it made it clear that my idea was shit. Happy?
imagine for a moment that some of us arent 12 year old girls, and dont use Mybook or Facespace.

were you seeing his shit because you went to look at his shit or was he "cold calling" you and sending that shit to you?

or, was he sending it to somebody else, who was in turn sending it to you?

example:

if you hate weed, you should not come to a website thats almost 100% about weed.
if you do create an account and log in to Rollitup, you cant bitch if you see some weed-centric posts

IF however, some member who likes weed, copy/pastes some weed centric posts and sends them to you, then you can bitch

IF you go to some third person's personal web page and see some rollitup weed-centric information, you still cant bitch.

Umm, not all of us. You might have noticed I lean right on a few issues and I'm a Nontheist.

We need to wind back these social programs like Medicaid, not expand them. And I'm talking about ALL of them.

That's slightly ignorant to assume everyone using social media is a 12 year old girl, seeing how it's a great networking opportunity for many business people (yes adults) who aren't just there to gossip, and not much different than using a forum in some aspects (are you a 12 year old girl?) - disregarding that, I suppose I could "simplify it for you" as you put it:

People post things to their own "page" so to speak, and others can comment on it. Friends of those people can see the comments on these posts. The original post from my friend was about gay rights - I "commented" my opinion of it on my friends post, and the pastor came in with his own "comment" implying I must be homosexual and am destined for hell, gays are an abomination, blah blah, "tagging" my name in it so it became a link to my page and my friends can see it appear on their page, etc, etc. Followed up by many bible quotes that didn't apply (one did), and pushing religion down everyone's throat. No one said he had to agree with human rights for everybody, but it was offensive to him to even see rights for gays being considered and discussed apparently.

According to your definition of what people can and can't do, both me and the pasture were wrong for subjecting each other to our opinions via a mutual friends page...I think? But he actually singled me out and tagged me in the post so being the "12 year old girl" I'll say he was wrong and I'm right.

Make sense now?

1: implying you are a 12 year old girl because you use Facespace (or any other website one wishes to deride) is a time honored interweb tradition. you can either accept the traditions and social mores of the society you have chosen to join, or move in with Rob Roy in his shack on the side of a mountain in Burkina Faso

2: so you participated in a discussion in a public forum and did not like the words you heard... lifes rough, wear a helmet.

3: what did you do to some poor pasture? do you mean the sheep in the pasture, or did you molest the ground itself? thats pretty kinky either way.

Mmm I love me some polarization. Fuck doing anything. Let's just argue over things we disagree on and already knew we disagreed on prior to this disagreement, and will probably disagree on in the next disagreement. Make sure we hit all the talking points of the day for our party as well. This will really be effective.

I thought it was just on the media and everyday people were more sensible. Proved me wrong!

"Hey you! I have a different stance on things than you! It makes me angry when you say something different than my beliefs! Fucking Obama Cheney Paul Clinton ass motherfucker! And oh yeah...Gay people! And uhh...Religion!"

And so it was - no one ever saw what was really happening and played into the smoke and mirrors. Chinese became the language of the land and quality products never again existed. Capitalism met it's fate as creating the same economy that Communism was designed to create - only slowing the inevitable end, yet still reaching it. People looked back and realized that America was once great...and now it ain't!

I needed my car fixed and couldn't afford it. I met a guy that had a shade tree garage and let you use his tools and advice, for free. I replaced the clutch in my Datsun B-210, and was thinking about the brake job, when he approached me.

"The others guys say, you are not a Christian." I am too! I was baptized a Methodist!
"But, you talk about Gurus and devil stuff. That is Spiritual Counterfeit." (wtf?, blink blink)

I took a depth breath and looked around. "Is that the game here?"

He nodded and began an explanation about the Spiritual Counterfeits Project, something.

But, he was talking my back. I just walked away,

Not tolerant. No Western Religion is. It is the main mark that separates EAST AND WEST.

Don't worry, Eastern Religions have they own cruelty. Re-incarnation.
