If that were my plant and my garden I would get the shears and cut quite a bit off.

I wouldn't even mess around trying to keep it that tall. I would definitely chop.

Look up the Low Stress Training method on here or YouTube. LATE for short.

What I did was cut holes around the edge of my plants container. Then I tied a piece of string around the hole I made. Then I bent my girl over and looped the string over her stalk. From there you just pull till its decently tight against your plant and tie the other end of the string tothe same hole.

In a few hours your plant will twist and turn its way back up to the light. This week keep her shorter, and also encourages growth from the lower nodes of your plant.

I know it can be nerve wracking, butif you're ggentle you will be ok. Bend as far as she will go, but if you feel or see tearing ease off. Good luck, and give us some pics when you're done!

Can you just tie it over? Or you can knuckle it. Find where you want to bend it them just bend it over. If it pops no big deal. It will heel and be good but it should stop vertical growth.

I just snapped one of the tallest branches on one of mine on accident, its perking up fine and it was pretty much a complete break but had enough holding together to get water through to thre top and thats all that matters.

Im glad it helped! Keep in mind that training like that can encourage outward growth too, so she might start to get wide ;)

Sorry to jack the thread, but I'm interested as to how late on you can still supercrop? I am waiting for my autos to be done before I will have more horizontal space, but I worry that it might be too late to do any training / supercropping on my photos which will be at week 4 or 5 by the time the autos are done.

Yep I just did the final clean of tent for the last of the run. I knuckled 6 top colas on 4 plants.OK two were topped when young so I had 2 tops on 2 plants. I hate doing it but you can only grow so tall. Picked nice places and will have some nice big colas. 3 wk in flower.
